There are 2 different size speaker rings for mk5 golf
Ordered 2 sets to find out these only fit the rear so the rears are now fitted and have to return the other set and order the correct one for the front as vw decided to use 2 different size holes. But the ones that are fitted fitted perfectly with metal self tappers instead of rivets.

Adapter fine, connectors not great
Plastic adapters were good and fitter perfectly. The speaker cables were a poor fit to the speaker itself, one very tight, one needed nipping up with pliers.

I got these for a 2005 Seat Cordoba because the description says they fit - they do and don't.They go into the back doors 100% no problem but the front doors were a different story, they require some bodging around the window motor unit to get them to fit, but that aside they do allow me to put aftermarket speakers into the car now

Perfect fit with slight modification.
Make sure you read the description as these guys sell ones for front and rear speakers.But a pop rivet gun too for best fit.
