Just Installed Today and Problem Fixed
The media could not be loaded. Packaging and Shipping were good. Cranks over strong! Installs in a Silverado are somewhat difficult but jack up, take passenger wheel off, and pull wheel well cover aside for a much easier install. 1/4" 8mm and 13mm sockets required. Can't comment on Longevity because I just installed it today in my 01' Silverado 1500 LS 5.3L but if it lasts 22 years like the OEM one did, it'll be a damn good Bargain! Good Luck with your purchase too!

Great starter
Awesome starter and super fast shipping. Only thing bad is the fact that they left the bolt out. So I had to purchase the bolt from my local parts store and that added 7$ to the price but overall it’s a great product.

Meh maybe in a pinch
Not pleased. Weak when cranking and takes longer to start vehicle. I don't think it will make it through the winter.

Way cheaper than factory part works just as well
2002 Silverado Extended Cab with 4.8 engine. Fit perfectly. I'm a pretty good shade tree mechanic but it still took a while to get the old one out. I removed the plastic fender liner to get some more room.Took just under two hours but next one should be like 30 minutes. Truck starts like new now. Starter came with a printout showing torque numbers and voltage draws and all sorts of stuff for my individual unit. That was a nice touch.

Great service
Amazon advertised this to fit my 2000 Silverado and it does not. The companies add had the correct years listed. They refunded me the cost and the shipping to make it good once returned.

Decent Starter
Would have given 5 stars but it whines when you crank it. Other than that it's a ok starter.
