4692 3/4-Inch Drive Metric Impact Socket Set, 26-Piece

The only sockets I have purchased and used for the last 40 years have been Snap-On which are killer high quality and double killer expensive. Since this is a 3/4 drive set for "for the shop" rather than personal, I looked at the Snap-On set which was 4X as expensive, pinched my nose and placed an order. When I opened the box, I was shocked. the plastic case is really well made, and has a second set of side latches [someone as Sunex actually thinks]. When I picked up the sockets I was stunned. They aren't as pretty as Snappy's but they are VERY well made, not highly polished...remember they are impact sockets. The tolerances are very good, and the machining is excellent. I took a couple of photos comparing a 46mm from this set with a 46mm 1/2 drive Snap On socket [see below] and and the wall thicknesses are similar. I will stick with Snap On for my chrome hand sockets, but Sunex really does make good tools, and we will clearly buy more from them.

I don't need these every day so I couldn't justify the tool truck price. When they arrived I was impressed with the quality! Very nice tools! It should be noted that the case is apparently intended for shipping only. It does not match the sockets quality at all.

Great 3/4 set. Use almost every day as an heavy equipment mechanic and haven’t broken one yet.

Sunex has proven over and over again that they make the best sockets available on the market. No matter if you use them in low or high torque situations, they will never leave you hanging. I have never had to warranty a Sunex impact socket and they never let me down.

I only use these on rare occasions because my 1/2 impact sets will usually cover me. There are times when I need something bigger than 36mm or when I need to break out my 3/4 monster ratchet, and the few sizes I've used have no visible wear or marks on them. I bought these expecting to need them more often than I really did, but I still am glad I have the set.

Sockets are great, I love them. The case however, had the two main latches broken. Disappointing since it’s brand new, not cheap to buy this set, and it’s broken before I even get it

Bad to the bone socket set, Sunex tools better than going to a tool truck. Dont think twice and go this route thank me later.
