Playful Wash, 8 Fluid Ounce

Both of my boys battles eczema their entire lives (3.5 yrs old and 9 months old).Our first pediatrician always said it wasn't eczema & to treat with hydrocortisone. That did nothing & my boy would scream with any lotion except pure Vaseline on his legs. When we moved & our second son was born, our new doc diagnosed both with eczema (though they exhibit it differently) within seconds & recommended Vaseline on painful days and lotion 4-6 times per day to maintain. Nice, but what mom has time for 6 applications of lotion every day?!We have been converting to more and more natural products over the years and decided to try Episencial wash when we finished a bottle of Burts Bees.Within a week, both boys showed NO signs of eczema!! We also tried the Soothing Cream, which both boys screamed about, so I just use it myself. We have been using the Playful Wash for about 3 months now & I recommend it to all my friends whose kids have sensitive skin. it is so great that now my boys only need the occasional lotion for dry skin during dry winter weather. No more itchy, painful red splotches all over their precious baby skin!!

I ordered this after trying a sample (on myself the parent, to be safe). It left my skin feeling soft and rinsed very clean, and I really liked that it was made with a lot of natural ingredients and not the usual harsh chemicals found in a lot of body washes. My toddler likes the picture on the bottle too. The only reason it is not a 5-star product for me is that I find the orange scent to be a bit harsh. I prefer a sweeter, slightly floral orange scent, and this one reminded me of some orange cleaning products. It's not bad, but my sample was unscented, and I think I'd prefer unscented to the orange, or just a lightly sweet scent.Overall, it's a good product that I can feel good about using on my little one.

I used the Episencial line exclusively for my son from birth to 1 year and love the entire product line because it is free from nasty chemicals and preservatives and does not use artifical fragrances. Although i do love the lavendar wash the playful wash is by far my favorite, it has a great orange aroma and i love how it lathers up. A little bit goes a long way! My son is now 18 months i still use it but only every once in a while because it is pretty pricey. I have tried many different less expensive washes for my little one but this one will always be our favorite! Pair it with the strawberry lotion and you wont be able to keep your hands off of them!

My 5 year old son has had eczema his whole life... his skin is VERY sensitive to certain products (nearly everything) and my 1 year old son is not quite as bad, but has a few spots that get irritated easily. I heard about Episencial on Facebook (they have great customer service on their page!) and bought the Soothing Cream and Foaming Wash through Amazon. My boys love it. It smells delicious, it's gentle to the skin and it's got safe ingredients I don't have to worry about. I was worried that the bottle was small and wouldn't last long for my two boys, but it has... a little bit goes a long way. I really like this stuff, and I have already bought more because we're finally about to run out!

I know this is very expensive, but it really works for my 3 yr old who has had eczema for about 2 years and i wanted to try something chemical free to see if it would work and it did. When you get all the toxins and junk out of your body....you get healed with out trying any meds. They ointment the Dr gave just stopped the itch. it did not get rid of the actual eczema. You only need to use a small amount tho.

This is nice and gentle. Doesn't irritate my daughters eczema and works great for my new born. Love that it doesn't have the harsh chemicals and extremely strong smell. I do wish it had a little stronger natural orange smell. I want my baby to smell fresh at least.

After much research regarding the chemicals our babies are smothered with on a daily basis I decided to give Episencial products a shot. Their products received great scores on EWG and are reasonably priced. I am very pleased with everything we have tried! Our son has mild eczema and many soaps will cause his skin to dry out, not the case with the Playful Wash. Not only does it do its job, it smells amazing! The soap has a great citrus smell and is not overwhelming at all.

I found this wash from a sample packet I was given in a gift bag from my birthing center. This wash has a light citrus scent that does not linger after the bath like many other baby products do. This is one of the main reasons I am drawn to it. Another reason is the natural ingredients and limited ingredient list the product has.Tear free for our three month old and doesn't dry her skin out.
