I bought this hoping to cool down my attic faster and make it more bearable during the daytime when the scorching sun is out. It works as an air cooler, desktop fan, air humidifier when you add water and also a night light. There are 3 adjustable wind modes but I only use the strongest, 8 modes for the night light and also a timer. I add ice cubes in the tank for the cold air, so far it hasn't spilled any water. The sizing is small so it fits on the corner of my desk and doesn't take up much space. Overall, it makes my work space cool pretty fast, very happy with my purchase!

The media could not be loaded. This is a good compact, portable and easy to use cooling unit. It is light weight and has a handle, making it very portable. The instructions are clear and walk you through how to use. It also has clear and simple controls on top. Keep in mind, it is a portable unit, so it doesn't hold a lot, but it works very well. It has good strong cooling, but works better in a direct path. I stay in a 20x20ft room, and it doesn't cool down the room as much as i'd like, but it is strong pointed in my direction. This is good to have on hand for work, travel or rooms without AC!

Busted my hand trying to get ice cubes into the stupid tiny drawer that doesn’t open more than an inch, if that, and doesn’t come out. Worst design ever. Who would force you to fill a drawer with water so close to the motor??? And this thing doesn’t blow cool air, it blows just plain air, ice water or no ice water. Max cold setting or not. 30 minutes later, just a fan. Don’t see what all the fuss is about. Waste of time on my part, save your own.

First I would like to say - this arrived in a great package, in perfect condition and FAST! BUT...it didn't work and I had to return it. The water tray wouldn't come out all the way - only about 1/2" of a 3 1/2" span. So I used a funnel to fill it and turned away to clear the space where I was going to place it. But the time I turned back (maybe 5 min tops) the water had leaked most of the way out all over a glass top mahogany desk. The water went under the glass and I had a real mess. I got towels and let the rest drain, packed it up, and returned it in the same day I got it. Made me sad because I'm always too hot at work and was looking forward to being 'cool'! I shouldn't 'rate features' because I never got to plug it in and turn it on.

Straight forward and does as advertises. This most certainly won't cool you're entire room but it does work perfectly as a desk fan. When using the water it has a noticable misting effect and is really nice if sitting next to you. The lighting is gimmicky but doesn't take away from anything.I'd recommend but the price is pretty high honestly, you're getting a desk fan with an evaporative tank. If on sale or coupon it's not a bad deal.Note. Noticed the fan at lowest speed can make a strange noise for abit then it clears up. Probably specific to my unit.

We were excited to try these, but it didn't quite live up to the hype. It felt like a weak fan with a foggy type of mist coming out of it. Even adding ice to the water did not cool the airflow to any significant degree. As a 'right beside you' fan it works okay as the motor is fairly quiet, and the lights are a nice feature. But we got more cooling from cheaper regular fans.

I bought this for the Seattle heat wave. It is working surprisingly well. It blows out significantly colder air than a regular fan. The relative humidity is on the low side here (30-40%) and having high humidity will make it less effective. The fan could be stronger (there are only 2 speeds) but I am happy with the purchase

Just set up the fan. It cools better than a previous model type I had (which died).Pros:- Good cooling. 3 fan levels, 2 mist levels- Powerful fan for it's size- Bigger water container than other models- Sturdy build- Looks niceCons:- Electric motor is a bit louder than others I own of similar size.- Water tray barely pulls out less than 1". Makes it a little difficult to pour into. Will be nearly impossible to clean. This is my reason for the -1 star.
