Move over spidey, there's a new spider women in town!
Just call me Black Widow cause I'm spinning webs like an arachnid.Got the gun yesterday, went out and spun my webs and they look great! I thought this thing was way easy to use. I really had no problems. So here is my experiences so far and I will update once I get a little more time on the gun.1. I had to go and buy a compressor for home depot. I bought a 50 dollar one gallon compressor with the following spec.Air Delivery SCFM @ 40PSI 0.5Maximum Pressure (psi) 110Air Delivery SCFM @ 90PSI 0.42. The compressor handled the gun but I had to keep stopping to let the tank refill. But keep in mind I ran the gun a full pressure so I know I was draining the tank pretty fast.3. As I said I ran the gun full pressure. It worked best at this setting with at least 80 PSI on the Gauge. When the Gauge dropped below 50 I would stop and let the tank refill.4. At 90 PSI I could shoot webs across the yard about 10 to 12 feet and when they landed and stuck they looked great --Like real thin cobwebs (you know, like the kind that when you walk into them they transform you into Bruce Lee from Enter The Dragon ). These kind of webs would be very creepy to walk through.5. It took a while to build the webs but it was fun.6. I plan on experimenting with lower set PSI to see if the compressor will last longer and what the quality of the webs will be. I'll keep you posting on results.7. I used regular glue sticks but the extra long ones. They are very cheap at harbor freight or possible here on Amazon (I have not check that)8. I have mixed a pack of Rit dye Whitener & Brightener Laundry (bought from Amazon) with water and am spraying the webs. This should make them glow under black-lite. I'll keep you posted on results.

So much web. So much awesome.
I love this cobweb gun. It's fantastic! I was able to completely cover my entire porch in a short time with an insane amount of webs. Idk where other people went wrong and reviewed this product so low, but it worked great for me. I had my air compressor set to 100 PSI (gun reccomends 90 PSI, but I was too eager to fiddle with the controls anymore). I also used high temp glue sticks. Occasionally the glue would clog the gun, but it seemed like the temp had just dropped from the rapid use and I was able to just set the gun down to heat up for about 2 minutes and it worked perfect again. If you're trying to web a flat wall, you have to fire the gun at an near parallel oblique angle and it turned out great (don't shoot it perpendicular unless your into glue globs).

Didn’t work for us.
This web gun could have potential if they worked out the problems. It DID shoot a couple of ok webs, but for the most part it just shot globs of hot glue forward, and oozed hot glue down the gun and onto the floor. It is like the glue gets too hot and gravity has it come out in globs on the floor before it has a chance for the air to shoot it out in webs. Even then, most of the webs are super thick and look like glue from a hot glue gun rather than thin strings of spider web. Also, it does NOT come off easily. The big clumps or the smaller webs.

This could be a LITTLE better for the price
I think $30 would be a fairer price for this. It does what it says and is quite solidly built. I've only used it once with good results with a bit of practice. The trigger feed seemed to cause an inconsistent pressure feed of the glue sticks resulting in pulses of expulsion, rather than a steady stream of webbing. I found that I got much better result pushing the glue/web stick through slowly and consistently with my other hand, which is less than ideal, but acceptable. This is a good gun for small or medium jobs due to the capacity of the heating element, and therefore the speed at which you can spray webs. The end result is not as realistic as the web shooter that use rubber cement, etc... but still look great and generally "authentic", significantly more than most applications of the webs from a bag. They are also able to withstand the outdoor elements beautifully and cleanup is still a snap.
