Didn't fit so I removed the head. I tried to use the tool to remove the lifters it was so difficult I threw it. I ended up using a magnet. It worked great. Buy some long needle nose. **Q: will work on gmc yukon 5.3 motor** A: It worked well on lifters in a '93 Jeep wrangler in line engine. The tool kind of pops in over that C ring looking spring and could work to replace cam and lifters without removing the head but it would be tricky and you might drop the lifter. If the lifters are mushroomed I don't think this tool would work...or maybe. You could ask are Chrysler lifters near the same opening as GMC .?
