NYX Nyx cosmetics color correcting liquid primer pink

I thought I was buying a pinkish under eye corrector but instead I hit the jackpot for a beautiful primer. My pores are lessened and it brightens my skin just enough without shining or looking slick.

I bought these to cover my always present dark circles. I outline those circles with this product, put skin toned concealer on the inside, let them sit a bit, and then blend.I STILL have circles but they are much less with the addition of this product.Note, sometimes it spurts out, so be prepared for that.

I don't really like this color correcting primer. It doesn't correct the dark circles under my eyes. It's a nice light cream to put on my face before foundation, but doesn't do the trick. I recommend using the color concealer that NYX sells to correct color on your face instead. Sadly, a big disappointment​.

The item is exactly as listed however the pigment of the primer is pale considering the color is meant to be peach. The bottle is the right color, the primer is a pasty white-ish peach. With layers (2-3) depending on the pigment of your skin, it works nicely with the right products on top of it.

This is not a mattifying primer, but if that's what you want, it's amazing. It is moisturizing, and give you a radiant pink glow. I've been using it for years. It suits my pink undertones and very dry skin perfectly. I would only recommend this to people with pink undertones, and very dry skin, who want something to make their skin look radiant, NOT matte.

As for effectiveness at color correcting - the reason I purchased this product - it gets a whopping ZERO stars (Not that giving zero stars is an option). After applying, the light pink color completely vanishes so there is no pigment left to 'correct' the dark undertones of your skin. As for use as a primer, maybe it's just me - but whenever I use primer - my concealer looks very splotchy. If you happen to have the same problem ( skin too oily maybe?) you can expect it to happen with this primer too - best save your money and try something else. Sorry, nothing positive to say about the product.The seller packaged it well and it arrived quickly. 5 stars for them.

I use this as a primer to give a healthy glow to my skin. I can wear it alone or with foundation . Wearing it under foundation allows the foundation application to be quicker and easier. I don’t have major blemishes but have tired looking skin. This really helps to give my skin a boost.
