Best privacy option I have used!
I have been using this product for a long time in almost every house and/or apartment I have lived or rent and it works perfect. It sticks to the glass very well and stays put for years. It provides excellent privacy and if it has some design, it will look great! Installation is easy and the best thing is that it leaves no glue residue if you remove it. One of the low ratings before complained that it failed to stick to the wall, but to be clear, this is NOT wall paper. I will recommend for glass only! It works equally effective on glass doors (sliding and storm) and any window. Just cut to size. Here are a few tricks: trim the paper first. If you are doing a big glass door (sliding), check the width first and see how many sheets can be installed without trimming and measure the portion left. If the width left to cover is too small (8-inches or less) then I suggest you make the gap bigger by trimming one sheet a couple of inches. When the are to cover is long and narrow the paper static may not last too much because of the paper weight vs surface contact. In small window sections is not a problem. One more thing, the paper must be installed on the interior part of the window, not the exterior!!! Good luck with the project.Get yourself a sprayer with water and a squeegee. Use the spray with the finest mist (works better). Spray the glass first and make sure it is all covered (do not be shy with this as the extra water will be squeezed away and it is better to have more moisture than less) then quickly remove the paper transparent film and press it against the window. Then move the paper and align it before you use the squeegee to remove the excess water. Hold one corner of the paper with your hand while you squeeze to prevent the paper from moving. Excess water will come out. Make sure you apply uniform pressure to avoid air bubbles. If done right, the window will look as if it came with the film.

Sticks well, looks professional and forgiving during install
I don't have any curtains in my kitchen for my sliding glass doors and I never liked how easily you can see through them at night. Not that I have to really worry about my neighbor but I don't like the idea of walking by those doors barely clothed at night to get something from the fridge. I ordered one which perfectly covers the bottom halves of both doors. I didn't want to cover the full door since I watch my dogs each morning we take them out. This allows us to see out and allows light to come through. Another extra benefit I noticed is that the morning sun isn't so harsh on my newly installed tile floor now that i have these installed. The tile is cold in the morning but the sun beams cause the floor to contract, I feel like this will help the floor to not be continually contracting with those hot morning rays beating down the the floor. My suspicion is that this will reduce any premature grout cracking. Also I did watch to point out the install was very forgiving, you can pull off and adjust multiple times if you need to. Pulling off the backing will cause a lot of static, this attached every bit of my Huskies hair in the area so it made the install more difficult, so just make sure you not only clean the door but any dust or dog hair around the area too.

Perfect black out for your window
This is a perfect black out film for your window. It blocks 100% light even if you have a sun facing window. Works well, easy to install and value for money. Just cut according the shape of your window and stick on.

Pretty sure the saw me "go".
I recently moved in with my partner and his bathroom has large windows so the blinds are always shut. However, I wanted my plants to get a little more light so I raised the blinds a few inches. Since the neighbors are basically never outside, I didn't worry about closing it. Until the night they decided to have a bonfire. I looked up from the toilet and my direct line of sight when straight to the bonfire. It was dark outside and light inside the house. I'm about 99% sure they saw me do my business. I ordered this item the next day. It's perfect. It lets in plenty of light you can't see through it. It's static cling so if you mess up, it's super simple to pull off and redo. The only tricky part is getting the film off the cling. I found it helpful to reuse the tab that's on the roll. Take it off after the first application and restick it to the next corner. Now, my plants get all the light they need, and we get all the privacy we need to prevent any other accidental peep show.

Great frosted film for bathroom
Our new house has a huge window looking right at the tub and shower. While we decide on blinds, I decided to put up this film. After seeing it, we might just leave it, it looks that good! Install was easy. You'll need a spray bottle with a drop or two of dish soap (shake it up), plus a long straight edge, a SHARP utility or Xacto knife, a squeegee and a hard plastic edge (credit card, etc).Beware: The grids on the back are nice, but mine were not square to the edges at all. It's a good thing I noticed before cutting it too narrow. Give yourself a few inches all the way around so that you have material to work with. Spray the window liberally with the soapy solution, peel the backing from the top and start the install. Depending on the size of the window and extra set of hands might be useful. Use the straight edge to make as long of cuts as possible and squeegee the water as you go. The hard edge card will really help get the bubbles out. The film is easily repositionable if you make a mistake before cutting.

Frost opacity does not match other size of same brand
The product is fine but is inconsistent in opacity across their roll sizes. I ordered 1 of the wide (this one) and 2 of the narrow width size from supposedly the same brand name (coavas), because I had different size window panes to deal with. This size however was more opaque than the other other size roll, though they are supposed to be the same product and brand. The 2 narrow width rolls, even though they should be the same product, came in 2 different shipment from 2 different sources, and the thickness of the film material was different. One thinner, one thicker. Same packaging. So while the product itself works well, be aware that the quality can be inconsistent. If you are looking for uniform opacity, just pick one size roll to go with. This size though is harder to deal with when cutting, you need a larger flat surface and a long enough ruler to be precise. They really should put a grid on the protective backing.

its dark
This was easy to install and really blocks out the bright lights and the heat from a room. Strongly recommended

Seriously. Waste of money, scroll on for a different product!
This stuff is total garbage. It doesn't stick on the edges no matter what you do. It peels away. Totally defeating the purpose of black out film. My biggest regret was not scrolling on. $30 I'll never get back!

Average product, still lets some light through
It's fine but not great. It's easy enough to install but the corners keep peeling off and not sticking to the window properly so you have to redo them a few times. It also still lets some light through. On the plus side, it doesn't smell when the sun hits it and it stays relatively cool.
