We run these a lot. They are well built and give us very little problem. The build quality is excellent. We will continue to buy these.

Excellent !
Fantastic so far use it every day only issue was the Guard ,had to take it off it needs to be adjustable . Out of the box its only able to take a hard wheel , all the years I have been welding I built up a nice assortment of grinder parts and was able to put a sanding pad on . $80.00 for $200+ grinder that had a "Blemish" I couldnt find, is money well spent

Perhaps a little pricey but we'll worth it It's very comfortable and designed for a purpose
Considering that I've been in the metal trades for almost eighteen years, I would think my opinion would be beneficial to many when thinking to purchase a pneumatic angle grinder.Over the years I've experimented with an infinite number of pneumatic angle grinders. I'm certainly not green when it comes to the various brands available, and how they produce on the shop floor. The Ingersoll Rand brand has always made a reliable and we'll constructed product. And the 3445max is no exception. Perhaps a little pricey but we'll worth itIt's very comfortable and designed for a purpose. The lean body of the grinder allows the operator to use it with eaze over longer periods of time, without the same fatigue brought on by bulkier grinders. Vibration and noise is very low, and the amount of power it produces is more then sufficient to remove material, sand and finish. Throw on a Walter Zip Cut and you have yourself a impressive grinder. However, a truely unexplainable flaw on this grinder comes from the amount of work needed to change your discs. There's certainly no quick change here. You need your entire tool box when it's time to change a disc. Wrenches , Allen keys and 2 sets of arms for starters. Aside from that it's definitely worth a go. As a Millwright working in heavy industry this grinder gets put to use and it certainly holds his own . Thumbs up

Excellent tool
Ordered this for heavy duty winch deck de-rusting on a ship with 30 lifeboats with capacity of 150 persons each. Lots of davit sheaves, 60 davits, 30 winch motors, LHR12 hooks, etc. Ordered two of them, worked almost daily for hours at a time during two months with excellent results. After that project they got employed in fresh water tanks with same results. The tool is reliable, does the job and still works after five months in marine environment with little maintenance.

... a refund and bought this ingersoll which is the best air grinder I’ve ever bought
I originally got a snap-on grinder that was over $100 more but it had something wrong with it right out the box so I got a refund and bought this ingersoll which is the best air grinder I’ve ever bought. Looks function and feel is far more superior then anything I’ve used. It’s comes with a few tools for changing wheels and disc but there not difficult and not an issue at all.

Ingersol 90 grinder
One thing I don’t like there no push button to tighten or lose when changing grinding disc or tightening disc, you have to use big wrenches that comes with the box. I hope that they will makes some changes or update , but it is a very good grinder

Junk
Save your money and buy a chief angle grinder for ⅓ the price. This unit has little to no power (used at 95 psi with 1/2" air line) very slow to get to full rpm and bogs as soon as anything more then weight of tool is applied. Bought to replace a chief unit believing IR would be a better working tool but no.
