Purchased for remediating extensive and persistant cigarette smoke damage to a unit at work (non-profit Sec 8, elderly housing). Everything was initially cleaned using a standard cleaner and kilz but smell remained. Power washed appliances, cleaned all fixtures, switch covers, knobs, light bulbs, cupboards, walls, ceilings, windows, heating vents and covers. Replaced all carpeting with plank flooring. But still smelled. Quote from professional remediator was in the thousands (plus I found out we had already done their step1!) for fancy negative air pressure cleaning, which was their step 2. I asked what step 3 was, and they said a specialized degreaser ( cigarettes contain tar) and step 4 was encapsulating paint. I searched degreasing cleaners and found a Benefect wholesaler who conveniently included the logo of the nationally known remediator as a client. Bought one gallon for under $6000 dollars (step 2) used this product in its recommended dilution and!!! Clean as a whistle. And we still have most of the bottle left. Worth every single penny. We are a non-profit, I got to use the money we saved to improve something else to benefit the elderly residents I serve.

My property had a fire and I wanted to see if this product would remove the soot. If I would have used this the day after the fire you would have never known one occured.With that said you are definitely getting what your paying for this is a 100% must for soot removal. Easy to clean.

Omg, you will love it. We just purchased this home and it had a smoker in it for years. Look at the walls and ceilings. I sprayed and let it sit for longer than 2-5 minutes. I did have to do some scrubbing on some of the buildup but not much. It started coming off on its own. Now I use this product to degrease the smoke but I use another product to remove the Oder of the smoke. You can however see and smell a difference. Im going to start using this for grease buildup in the kitchen.

We have been battling a biofilm of Actinobacteria that spread on us and our things from our water pipes in our previous home that we were forced to leave because it was destroying our health. In the new place, we've been battling it spreading from us to our things and we tried countless products to try to get rid of it, but this one failed like many others. I'm sure this works for general stuff, but this biofilm we're dealing with is like from hell and even UV light and ozone doesn't get it all. Undeniably the best cleaner for carbon based messes /exhaust or grease. I’ve been using this stuff for years on commercial boats and in my home. It’s second to none. Great thing is it’s so concentrated you don’t need much to do a big job. Love it
