Slightly big for my LO but my LO enjoy play with this... 👍🏻

I purchased this for my 16 month old grandson and he loved it! BUT he managed to unhinge a bottom rung and put a bead in his mouth! Those 3 straight wooden pieces on the bottom do indeed come apart. I see the glue, but it doesn’t hold well enough. I tested it for smoothness and looked for chipped paint, but did not think to test for sturdiness by pulling on it. I was looking for the original Busy Beads toy from years ago.

I really liked this toy for my 2 year old twins. They loved playing with it. The toy is about 2 months old and I had to change my rating to one star because it’s falling apart. The wooden dowels at the bottom are coming out and the little beads were falling off. I noticed when I saw one of my twins about to put one of the beads in her mouth. This toy is definitely not long lasting or durable. Now I understand why it’s so cheap. Not worth it if you’re looking for something to last.

Purchased as a Christmas gift for an 18mo child. Unfortunately, it isn't sturdy and fell apart within the first hour. Also, pay close attention to the actual dimensions of this...it was extremely small and didn't have enough to hold the child's attention. My personal opinion is that this item is a choking hazard and should not be given to children under the age of 3. Children over the age of 3 years would probably not even be interested in it.

18 months is the wrong age. I got this for my son when he was only 6 months old and he loved it then and still does almost a year later
