Yoga Sequences Companion: A treasure trove for students and teachers Paperback – October 15, 2015

TLDR: Buy this book!! I was intrigued by the front cover. We all know tree pose, but the way she plays with it here is interesting. It turns out that the cover is pretty representative of what's inside. There aren't a lot of super challenging poses, no crazy arm balances to wow your Instagram followers. It's mostly a lot of 'connective tissue'. She takes familiar poses and connects them or plays with them in unexpected ways. This book breathed new life into my practice, by providing a wealth of creative sequencing ideas. This stuff is gold, IMHO. We can all find images of the fancy poses online, but flowing between posed skillfully is the difference between an awkward, frustrating practice and a rejuvenating one.

I’m having no trouble following along with the sequences, they are clearly numbered. Love the beautiful illustrations, and the animals are a bonus. Some of the confusion with other reviewers may be that this is a compilation of 3 books, written at 3 different times, and that is why sequences are numbered differently. Once you understand that, no problem. To the author, thank you so much for this wonderful knowledge you have shared with us! Namaste

Two pages flows that can be included in a sequence, and even inspire a whole new sequence just through its organic beauty. I love the drawings and the originality of the offerings. I recommend.
