I got this because I lose my temper easily and I don't want that to affect my 2yr old daughter. My parents didn't have the best discipline tactics. My mom was too lenient and my father was too harsh with my brothers. This workbook has helped a lot.

This book was recommended to us by my sons therapist. So far it's been great and a real eye opener. It's really taught us a lot and is easier to keep focused on! Love the idea of a workbook as oppose to a regular hardcover. Definitely recommend!

I use the book No Drama Discipline in my parenting education class as part of our high school teen parent program and this workbook has been great to help guide discussions. I have also used the workbook personally and recommend it to friends to improve our own skills as parents. It's a great cheat if you don't have time to read the book.

Like the book. but very disappointment with the condition of the book when arrived. Seem to me it was not stored correctly. Bend like it was stored in a moist area. Really not happy about it.The option to replace is really not an option as it was a present sent overseas.

What a great book. As a therapist, I have found this to be a wonderful resource for parents that I work with. 5 stars all the way! Dr Dan never ceases to amaze me. Such a great author and physician. Highly recommend getting your hands on this NY Times Best Seller!

Great book , loved reading it and am trying to put the great advice into practice, seems to be working .

I really like the authors’ approach to discipline, so imbued with empathy and love: it’s a really innovative approach (that is: discipline is all about teaching, not about punishment), which I already knew from their previous book, No-drama Discipline. The No-Drama Discipline workbook is helping me put those concepts into practice even more effectively, not only with my kids, but also in my job as a preschool teacher.Through the exercises and reflections of the workbook, I’ve come to understand how each child is unique, has a different temperament and different needs, which we should take into account when kids misbehave so as to help them more effectively. All behavior is a form of communication, including misbehavior: when a child misbehaves, he does so because he probably needs to learn a variety of abilities: e.g. impulse control, delayed gratification, conflict resolution... In order for the teaching to take place, we should help children move from a reactive to a receptive state by first connecting with them, validating their feelings: the authors help you do this step by step, drawing also on brain science (summarized here and explained more in detail - but always in very simple terms - in the No-Drama Discipine work )!Besides, I particularly appreciate the attention the authors devote to us, parents and caregivers, for our challenging job: the workbook also has exercises to help us keep calm, but also to forgive ourselves when we lose it and mess up!! I really like this friendly attitude of the authors towards us!P.S. Last but not least, I think that many of the exercises and reflections in the book can be useful not only with young kids or children in general, but also in the relationships with adults!

I just received the book and was thoroughly disappointed by their use of the page count in this book. The first third of all the pages is actually a Minions coloring book that has nothing to do with this books main contents of teaching how to correctly handle your child.The actual book content that starts after the coloring book part has a lot of duplication with the original No-Drama discipline book. I was expecting more here...
