I've had this about a month so I can't really speak to it's durability, but it looks great and functions well. I can use touch id; sometimes I have to give it a couple of tries, wiggling my finger a bit, but it works. I also have an Apple Pencil and that works quite well with this case -- it stays on and charges quickly. One morning I woke up and the pencil was not charged. I suspect I didn't seat it properly in the groove provided for it. That's never happened again. The charging cord fits well and is no problem.As for the color, it's frosty but you can still see the Apple logo and the color of your iPad through it, albeit a lot lighter. I have the blue one which is a beautiful medium blue; through this it's kind of dusty gray blue. The front, which is what I usually look at, looks great with just a small border around it. Also, the matte finish feels good in the hand and has a nice subtle non-skid effect. It's not heavy duty protection. If you drop your iPad a lot you may want something more substantial. But if you're looking for minimalist protection from scratches and some grip, this is a very good choice.

Fits my Ipad M1 Pro perfectly. Super easy to put on and has kept my iPad protected very well so far.

I am so glad I found this clear case. I have no idea how people go about the day without having case protection for smartphones and tablets. Or a protective laptop case when out and about. There's no way, no matter how careful I am, that I wouldn't accidently drop it at some point. Even if it's mere inches above a padded surface and won't do any damage, a drop will happen. They need protection.Some gadgets have such a great, sleek look it's a shame to cover how cool it looks with indestructible covers that can withstand a variety of conditions. The backing, though it may not be looked at often, has such a good look you want to be able to see it. You don't want to lose a great look to a lackluster looking case cover. Especially for how much apple charges for products. This clear case does the trick.It's lightweight and you can see how good the tablet backing looks without losing the visual appeal all the way around. It's easy to remove when needed. The material has decent grip without being too slippery or attracting unwanted dust and lint.I am very happy with this purchase!

I plan to take pictures to show my issues. I bought this product at $13US and for that price the product exceeds my expectations. I have two issues: the case fits three out of 4 sides, the frosted white in the advertisement is more translucent than the actual product. For my first issue, the case fits perfectly around my iPad, including corners. But it doesn't fit right on the edge that might take the Apple Pencil. I'm thinking I will have to heat it up with a hair dryer to attempt to mold it better. Not a huge deal for me. The second issue has to do with the color, I have a blue iPad and wanted some of the color to show through the case. But this case might as well be called "white" because it is almost completely opaque (meaning that you won't be able to see much color through it.)My main gripe is with the seller of this item. They shipped me an opened item that had been taped up and sold as new. I think this is deceptive. If I were only rating the seller, I might rate a one star or maybe two stars since the product was delivered new. I'm guessing it's hard for sellers to deal with returned items and wanting to recoup costs. But I do expect honesty in the sense of letting buyers know to expect an open box.

Returned this item. From the moment I removed it from the box, noticed the inner portion was a finger print magnet. And the texture of that area makes it hard to easily remove the prints. So be careful not to touch it there when opening it for the first time otherwise you’ll see difficult to remove fingerprints visible when looking at the rear of your iPad.Also, when applied to iPad, the edges all around the perimeter felt like they were just short of snapping or clicking into place. As if the case was just slightly smaller than necessary to correctly fit. I was using it on a 4th gen iPad Pro 11”. Maybe I got a defective one. Also noticed decreased magnet strength when snapping pencil to my iPad. And the back of the case that you touch when holding has a slick texture which made it feel slippery to me. Wasn’t a fan.For the above reasons I returned it. If not for those issues I may have kept it just to have an inexpensive, clear case option when I don’t feel like using a case with a cover. But the fitment issue and fingerprints were enough to make it a pass for me. That was my experience, yours may differ.UPDATE:While I do stand by my opinion of this particular case, I can’t say enough about ESR customer service. A couple weeks after leaving this review, I received an email from Lacey on the ESR customer support team and she apologized that I was not happy with the case, despite having returned it, and she offered me a different ESR case 100% complementary. I was really impressed by that gesture.So if you have an issue with your ESR product do not hesitate to contact their customer service. It seems they are very receptive to making sure their customer base is happy with their purchases after the fact. As a result of this, I have purchased many other ESR items for a multitude of products ranging from iPad, iPhone, Apple Watch Ultra, and so on. Highly recommend. They offer a good range of items that I found to be the same level of quality as brands like Spigen, but much more cost-effectively.Due to the excellent customer service after care I received from Lacey at ESR, I’ve opted to update my review from 2 stars to 5 stars.

Case fits great. Looks good and is easy to put on. Enough grip so it won’t slide off angled surfaces. Feels durable but time will tell.
