Works great for helmet visor mount-please read....
My bicycle helmet has a kayaking visor added to it thats real sturdy. So, GOPRO 9 IS a bit heavy probably for a regular baseball cap, but thats not what I'm doing with the clip. Since my helmet is held on with chin strap, I have no problems and the device is very tough and sturdy. About to go on my first GOPRO bike recording and happy with the product.

Holds up to abuse
I use this to mount this to my fire helmet. Takes a lot of abuse. I have to replace it every couple of months, but that is after exposure to high heat and a lot of use.

Hat mount vs neck mount comparison
The media could not be loaded. It is good for certain situations and great concept. However it is a little bit heavy on your head and doesn’t feel extremely sturdy.
