Mind opening
This was not what I was expecting but I did love it. At university I was very much becoming slightly clinical in my thinking and this book was an inspiring read. If you’re learning to use the person centred approach or the social model of disability then this book will open your mind!

Really interesting and engaging read.
Fabulous! A really interesting book which explores the current thinking in profound learning difficulties through different perspectives. This allows some challenges to be made to the traditional ways of thinking about people who have profound intellectual disabilities.. definitely read if you work in, or are interested generally in this area!

Its a paradigm shift in researching PMLD!
A great read for all who are keen on a different outlook of PMLD and, indeed all cognition difficulties. Ben's research methodology is a real paradigm shift in researching disabilities. Highly recommend it!
