Does this "erase" the seams and scratches or is prep work needed?** A: You will need to patch any deep nicks or seams with some wood filler. **Q: Once totally cured, is the countertop then food safe?** A: That is correct! Once Giani has fully cured, in approximately 7 days after application, it's safe for incidental food contact. **Q: Can I used this if my current countertops are granite ?** A: Yes, absolutely! Please visit our website for the full prep instructions! **Q: Can you do this in a marble shower?** A: We do not recommend applying it in a bathtub or shower, as the Epoxy would not be able to self-level on the tall vertical walls. The maximum height we recommend of a vertical surface is the standard 4" backsplash. ## Frequently Bought Together - Giani Marble Easy Epoxy Countertop Paint Kit (Carrara White) - Giani Epoxy Resin Topcoat Single Set - Giani Marble Countertop Paint- Step 1 White Primer (32 fl. oz.) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ph/products/300463445-giani-marble-easy-epoxy-countertop-paint-kit-carrara-white](https://www.desertcart.ph/products/300463445-giani-marble-easy-epoxy-countertop-paint-kit-carrara-white) --- *Product available on Desertcart Philippines* *Store origin: PH* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
