Vinqliq® New Super Soft Cork Bike Bicycle Cycling Handlebar Tape Wraps with Bar Plugs (Black)

My first time wrapping handle bars. The pack came with end caps for the handle bars, the tape that has a protected self adhesive strip and finishing tape. The finishing tape isn’t amazing I might pick up electrical tape to finishing it. Overall easy to install, watch videos online the instructions to help with what directions to wrap it in, the supplied instructions are very basic. Once it had it all installed I thought it looked pretty cool. The handles feel soft, I do need to take it on test rides. The price is good so even for the small things I give it a 5 stars, very happy with the purchase so far.

I was a little wary at first because the cost of this tape is so much lower than a few other leading tape brands. My concerns are abated. The tape was super easy to self install. It seems to be really durable. I've ridden a couple dozen hours on it at this point and holds up just fine. It is not cush but seems perfectly comfortable. I would definitely recommend and will probably continue to use this tape in the future. Oh, the tutti fruiti design is really cool as well.

The end tape provided for the install did not peal easily from its backing. Other than that I liked the handlebar tape. Love the look. Feels good to the touch, and went on fairly well after the issue with the tape.

I am not an expert at installing bike wrapping but both of my bikes had dirty white tape. I ordered two fun designs, looked on YouTube to see how to install and the result is pretty good. I would not hesitate to order again.

UPDATE: After a year of riding, the felt texture is gone but everything else is still perfect. The tape is smooth and pleasing to touch but still offers good grip and cushion. The white is still white, everything is still in great shape. I'm changing my review from four stars to five.This wrap has almost a fine felt texture. That's the only thing I don't absolutely love, but it's something I'm fine living with. They look great, the adhesive strip on the back grabs fine, the paper cover is easy to remove from the strip, the wrap is easy to cut with scissors, and there's plenty of cushion (this wrap is medium-to-thick).Don't mind that I didn't wrap as far into my bars as most people would - I had enough wrap to do it, but chose not to because I like the flat part of those aero bars to stay flat.

This tape is really hard to apply. Super rigid. As in practically unstretchable. I have tapedMany handlebars and this was one of the hardest jobs. I will give this credit for being super strong though as I had to really pull in it to make it conform to the bar. Other tapes would have snapped. Looks great once it is in place. love the blue. Haven’t ridden it yet but it sure doesn’t feel soft, let alone super soft. Oh! It also doesn’t come with strips to cover the back of the brake lever.

I wrapped the cage for the kids on my electric cargo bike. The left side almost immediately started peeling and within a week was coming off completely and then my kids just pulled it off.

Opened package this weekend. Never sure the quality of wrap that I am going to get. This was great. I will note brand and consider them next time as well. Stretchy enough to let you wrap very cleanly.
