So far so good
I've only had this for a couple of days now, but I can already see a significant difference between this and several aftermarket replacement chargers that I've tried for my SP7. This one charges fast and does not freeze the trackpad as the others do. I am able to use it while charging, and you can feel the difference in its weight from the aftermarket ones. Feels very strong and durable. I would say for the price, it's a great value. Only about 20 dollars difference from many of the cheaper aftermarket ones but there's a great difference in performance.

Works as good as OEM charger
I have owned other aftermarket chargers that mess with the Surface trackpad, making it almost impossible to use while charging. This one does not have that problem. It charges fast and does not overheat. Would recommend.

It broke within 6 months
The magnetic connect feature prevents this from happening if it gets "pulled" out of the socket in a weird way. But within 5 months there was a big enough chip that I now cover it with electric tape to protect myself when removing the charge until I can get a new one. I was very frustrated that this part was labeled and original charger but is labeled as a replacement with no certifications of authenticity. But I guess that's why its cheaper then ordering the part from Microsoft. but replacing it every 6 months makes me just wish I paid more and had some sort of warranty/guarentee

This product failed in just a couple months and almost ruined my Surface Pro7 computer. Do not buy one almost burned up my charging port on my CPU. The sad thing is I only used it maybe 3 times!! Buy a replacement unit directly from Microsoft!

This charger broke in 2 months
It worked fine for 2 months and it just stopped working.. it's trash can't even get a refund for it.

Garbage broke 7 months after purchase does not charge and makes a funny noise!
