A bit predictable
The storyline was good. The suspense built up gradually and was maintained till about 3/4th of the story. Just became too predictable in the end

Quick pace but predictable climax
So this is a fast moving and nicely written book but there are a few niggles...Describe the scene dear author...I don't know what a moor looks like and I wasn't able to visualise it while reading...I wasn't able to visualise Claire or Ed...not that it took away the fun but it's a FACTOR.

Not his best.
A good plot and good characters make this book a good read and the pace of the book never slow down but still it was not his best work. Recommended.

A gripping thriller
Nice read. The story was a bit predictable to be honest and it felt a little stretched in between. Nevertheless I enjoyed reading it. I’d recommend this to anyone wanting to read a thriller.

Thrilling
Don't think I've ever read a book so fast! It was absolutely enthralling, thrilling, didn't want to put it down. I tend to read in bed so I haven't been getting my usual amount of sleep! Just had to get to the next chapter and the next. One of the best books I've read, totally absorbing

The Catch is a page turner!
Read this with my mum in UK (covid distance book club). We both couldn't read it quick enough! It was definitely a page turner. If you want an easy mystery read, then this is definitely worth it. Not a heavy book at all. Top rating on goodreads, that is how I found it.

Fantastisches Buch

Consigliatissimo!
