Great, easy to read book. Fantastic introduction to Mindfullness. Cannot rate highly enough even if you go on to read other books on the subject this book will make so much sense on reading. The book touches on how we are all displaying addicted behaviour to cope with stresses and strains of modern life. It then explains how to counteract these behaviours be it excess food, sugar, alcohol, tobacco or any other drugs in a very simple, straightforward, logical manner. Allen Carr books are all simply constructed, easy to read, and can easily change your life for the better. Well worth a read.....all so incredibly helpful. Could change your life.......

Maybe not for everyone but has helped me!
This book may not be for everyone, however with lockdown easing and realising I was having mental health issues! Once I had opened the book I have to say I couldn’t put it down and following the exercises has really helped. Its about being open minded and reconditioning the brain which has helped me!Again may not work for all, but I have passed it onto a few friends and family since and they have also benefited.Just remember to keep up the mindfulness!

Loved it!
Loved this book. Not one for someone who is mega into mindfulness - but a fab introduction to it for a reletive novice.Disclosure; I’m a huge Allen Carr fan and his stop smoking method saved my life.

Disappointing
Despite great success with 3 other Allen Carr books, this one was a no for me. I didn’t finish it, as it was a constant rehashing of addiction advice—I’m already thoroughly schooled in it—rather than anything focused on mindfulness. If you’ve read any of his books on smoking, alcohol, weight loss, or gambling, I wouldn’t waste your time on this.
