I love it Although the price is bit too high but the quality and design worth it all. Highly recommended if you are looking for a pot for daily use the size 1.5qt is good for 1-2 pack of instant noodle

I just received this pot so cannot comment on durability, but I've used it three times (1)making tofu (2) blanching vegetables (3) making vegetable broth. What I've found so far is that it heats evenly and quickly, Cleaning was a breeze. In response to those who complained about white spots remaining after washing, or a blue haze: this is a natural phenomenon common to all stainless steel pots. It is a function of the hardness of the water (mineral content) and the detergent used. It's easy to correct. After washing and rinsing, pour a small amount of white vinegar into the pot, add an equal amount of water. Let sit for an hour (depending on the hardness of your water more time may be needed). Use a soft scrubee or brush, rinse with plain tap water, and white spots will be gone.

This is the first high quality set of cookware I purchased, and I am thoroughly impressed. They feel like a quality product with a good heft, have glass lids (no more guesswork about what's going on inside), have remarkable heat distribution, and are very easy to clean. I can put a larger pan on a small burner and the pan will heat up evenly without any noticeable hot or cold spots. I only wish the Premier line had more options to purchase. I bought everything they had except the pasta insert, thinking I didn't need it. As it turns out, I wouldn't mind purchasing it as well just to round out the collection. However, the insert is sold out everywhere I look. Too bad. But anyway, if you're looking for good quality, durable, high-performing cookware, you can't go wrong with Calphalon.

I needed this pan. I bought the stainless set, but the pan that came with it is 3qt, and that just isn't quite big enough for some of the recipes I want to cook. This one fits everything I want, with room to spare. I have seen the other reviews, and have to say, there is a bit of a learning curve to cooking with stainless, but once you "get it", you'll only use it (or your cast iron), ever again. First, you want MEDIUM heat, not low, nor high. Second, give the pan time to come up to temp - say, five minute or so. And learn the "skitter test". Drop a few droplets of water in the pan and they "skitter" over the surface, not just sizzle. And a little oil, it doesn't take a lot. I have no problem with stuff sticking, occasionally some stuff does, but not a lot, and it's never major. One thing people people with stainless need to learn, "Barkeepers Friend" is also YOUR friend. It takes off any stains, scuffs, marks, etc. It is also recommended by most stainless manufacturers. Once you have all this down, cooking with these is a breeze. Even heating (if you haven't warped your pan), non stick pans are cooking up great meals in your kitchen!
