My son won a sword in a jiu jitsu competition he participated in and asked for a stand for it. This one was a great price and works really well on top of his dresser.

Great price and it was more than strong enough for an old French bayonet.

The media could not be loaded. Roughly 5-6lbs of steel on here. No issues.

Both bases arrived broken. There is an obvious stress point. It is a bit scary to think they can break so easily considering this is meant to secure a SWORD.

The media could not be loaded. Style wise this is a great idea. It has a sleek look to it. Poor workmanship though with no respect for quality control. Sure, from far away you don’t see the cracks as much (you can still see the bottom ridge and how it is all chipped). If you put it in a place where people have to admire from a distance it’s fine. But as an up-close display the one I had fails. I submitted a replacement so we’ll see how this works out.Update: I received a replacement that was much better quality so I am updating from 2 to 3. The 2nd version still had a scratch on it(though it’s not a deep one and can’t be seen unless looking at it closely), the fact that it’s there still irks me.

Any Ninja, Samurai, Cavalry officer or Mongolian should feel confident purchasing this sword stand. Purchaser may feel a sudden urge to perform feats of heroism or to just mount their sword in it and stare it lovingly while they long for bloody battles in war torn nations, hacking, slicing and stabbing their way through enemy hordes. Matches virtually any decor.

This is a simple Stand for your Katana - I was pleased with the precise construction. I opted for the black stand to match my Kawashima Katana and was very pleased with the black lacquer on the piece.

Way overpriced! its cheep plastic, and not at all decorative. im not even going to use it
