I figured I’d write a review to help others like how it helped me. I have HSV2 and I knew I had an outbreak coming because I’m very familiar with the symptoms. I don’t have medical insurance since I just moved to where I’m at now so this stuff REAAALLY helped me to make it go faster. You have to follow the directions it says on the bottle for it to work. Mine started fading away the day I started to take it. Take the time to read the instructions if you want it to work. Only cons I have about it is the TASTE. It tasted very earthy like oregano and you have to down it with something because you will taste it in your breathe and when you burp. (Yuck!) but besides that, it’s a good product. It’s good to have in your shelf to tackle your next outbreak! It really does shorten the period of outbreaks and heals it faster. TLC tip: spray bactine in a q-tip and put it in your affected areas, let it dry and put neosporin on it. I swear to god it’s a miracle worker! I had my outbreak done in a week or less. Thank me later 😉

So excited to say I found something that really works to drastically shorten the time of the cold sore outbreaks I get on my lips which look awful, are painful, and seem to drag on forever. (I’ve never gotten prescription medication so not sure how this compares to that). My cold sores typically take about 10 days to completely heal with just using Abreva and tons of lysine. I purchased H Rescue about five months ago in the midst of an outbreak so I didn’t notice a huge difference in healing time. Was eager to see how it would help the next time taking right at the start of that “tingle.” Now, five months later, with a severe weather change, stress, and too much sugar I noticed that tingle and a small bump on my lip on a Friday and started taking 2 capsules every 4 hours faithfully minus nighttime. It is now the following Monday and this Cold sore is almost gone. It also never grew to the size it normally would have. I hardly leave reviews but to help others who may deal with these type of outbreaks I was eager to share. Give this stuff a try! If you’re concerned about taste— It’s not bad at all, just earthy like oregano. Considering how helpful this supplement is I would taste a whole lot worse to help alleviate pain and shorten outbreak time. Wonderful product!! I’m going to start taking a pill daily to hopefully avoid any outbreaks in the future.

I have purchased these several times to boost my immune system. These really helped boost my immune system and Im just taking two a day. Also taking Astragalus Root caps and extra Lysine. Stress can be a killer at times add that to old age and thats when we need to boost our immune system. The Origanum oil leaves a strong after taste but a drink of baking soda in water helps. The last two containers have had loose capsules and powder flowing out. So I am not so impressed. Lately I have added Iodine supplements and this has been more beneficial in boosting immune system. Update. According to Amazon I have purchased these 14 times. In that time the qualiy control has become non existant. I have relied on these to help prevent HSV 1&2. I had continuous out breaks after my last COVID Vaccine. The blood test was negative even while I had an HSV sore. So what I realised was that Povodine Iodine actually healed it. So I had some Thyroid Supplements that had Iodine in them as well as a Womens Multi with Iodine in it. Six months on and I have had one small outbreak that healled quickly taking extra Thyroid support. I was only taking half the recommened dose. I also take Multiple Antiviral Tinctures when I need it. and Ashwagandha for stress. So the answer is our immune system needs iodine to function. With regard to the Quality control. Each new supply includes half a container of loose powder. Shown here in the pictures.

Update: 06/07/2025: Although they made more stable capsules to hold the powder, i received a bottle with brown spots on the edges of the capsules. The quality needs more attention. I been using this for about 4 years and this is the most effective, even more than what was prescribed to me. Swallowing is not bad, i don’t notice any side effects, that i am aware of.. The recurring problem is that each of the bottles that i have been ordering have 90% of the capsules broken. I open a brand new bottle with all of the powder spilled out. Poor quality Please fix this issue 2/5

Just received this product yesterday and started using it IMMEDIATELY after having a bad outbreak. Short of going to the doctor I did some research and came across this product and read all the good reviews. I will say after a day of taking the supplements I do see and feel a significant difference. The sores/lesions are clearing rather rapidly. I do however, also take L-lysine, zinc, vitamin C, Vitamin A and Echinaecia religiously. Only when I miss 2-3 days in a row I'm almost guaranteed to get an outbreak. The only negative with this product for me is the taste and smell. I get a gag sensation when attempting to swallow the pills. So I have to drink with some type of juice or soda to mask the taste. Otherwise, I'm happy so far with this product and will order again. I also use Neosporin cream and Bactin spray on the sores/lesions as this was also a game changer to aid in relief of the pain and to promote healing. I read that from another customers review and tried that as well. In order for the suppliments to work it must become a lifestyle and apart of your DAILY ROUTINE.

When I get a cold sore it will usually last for 2-3 weeks and is so very painful. It is not that is just ugly looking but very painful. As soon as I felt the tingle I immediately started taking Herp Rescue. My cold sore did not even materialize. I had a little tiny blister on my lip which did not hurt and it only lasted for 2 days. The blister was not noticeable and was not painful. What a huge difference from my normal cold sore. I cannot believe how well this worked. I was skeptical but desperate so I tried it and so glad I did. There may be cheaper alternatives and Lysine seems to be the key ingredient but since this worked so well I am afraid to try something else. This was money well spent. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Thank you thank you thank you for this product.

The first time I took these, I literally had to stop myself from spitting them out. I can understand the 'vitamin' taste, or even the taste of the gel capsules, however this was so much worse. The only way I can describe it is a chemical taste. Highly recommend taking it with something with flavor like orange juice. Now on to the effectiveness....I started getting a cold sore on Monday/Tuesday, it hurt! By Tuesday night I could just imagine it turning into a full blown cold sore. I took the capsules, only once, on Wednesday morning. By Wednesday evening it was no longer progressing. Wednesday night it was improving. Thursday no longer visible but I could still feel a little discomfort. Friday, No Pain, No signs it was ever even there. To summarize, taste horrible however works amazing. Just be prepared for the taste. Well worth it.

I haven't ever had this before, (a cold sore) My husband told me of his problem long ago...when we started to date. He really hasn't had many issues. All these years later it got me. :( I have an autoimmune disease so, my immune system isn't so strong. I developed a little crack in my bottom lip. I didn't know what it was then a few days later....OH MY GOSH...it was awful!! It wouldn't go away! My lips were so freaken swollen! After two doses of Valtrex, still...it wouldn't go away! I developed Bells Palsy. The left side of my face became paralyzed. I was mortified! It was so very painful! I was off work for 3 weeks. Other than childbirth, that was one of the most painful things I have gone through! Long story short....I was doing some research and found this product, Herp Rescue and a lip product. I was shocked at how these both worked. I have been taking Herp Rescue daily ever since and haven't had any problems! After all that money spent going to the doctor and he couldn't seem to get this to stop...taking the Herp Rescue, BAM! It's gone away! I HIGHLY recommend this product and I WILL NOT go without it! My husband takes it also! Already ordered a second bottle and will be ordering a third soon! Excuse me but, this product kicks ass, hands down!!
