Wonderful book
This was a brilliant book as usual from Holly Martin. I loved it all. I shed tears quite a few times, which is a good sign, as I was touched by the love in the story. Can't wait to read the next in the series.

Really enjoyed it
A sweet love story where you want the main character to be happy. I wish there was love like that in real life. Only thing I found distracting was how did the main character have time to get her job done where there was so much drama in her life/relationship but overall a great and enjoyable read

Super read!
I saw a tweet about this book and thought I’d buy it. So glad I did the parcel arrived yesterday I started it and finished today. A lovely story about Bella and Isaac, I was completely engrossed in their relationship and couldn’t put the book down. Ups, downs and some heart wrenching parts but a truly wonderful love story

Loved it once I got into it
For me, perseverance was the key to loving this tale…..it took me a couple of days but then I finished it really quickly once I got into the story.

Amazing Romantic Comedy/Laughs out Loud
This is another amazing book from Holly, the book starts focusing on Bella. There is a great level of detail in the description of each character and this really helps to picture everyone in my mind. Bella is a fractured person with a complicated history and this materialises throughput the book.At a very young age her dad left the family home and after a short while her mum too, Bella was therefore raised by her loving aunt and uncle, who also had two children/now grown up and everyone treats her as one of the family and as brother and sister. There is also a close friend, who is captured as one of the family (Freya). Bella has been sacked from her job as an charity events manager, the couple she was working for was using the funds for personal use, Bella was cleared of any involvement, but unfortunately this has had a negative effect on finding future employment. Finally Bella has an interview, with a large corporate charity. Upon arriving home, a homeless person is sitting on her doorstep Issac. This is where the story starts and we find they have a instant chemistry, finding she can talk to him about almost anything and finds she opens up to him before her mind engages with her mouth. All is not want it first appears and Issac is actually in hiding from the company she has an interview with, it is a standard process to try and engage with candidates and see how they react to people in need outside of an interview setting. Both are not looking for love, due to past experiences, but the stars are already set for this to happen. There are so many Comedy moments (laugh out loud moments) and I have never seen a couple so in tune, totally in love, with these books it brings back how the look of love/adoration is so important.

Just perfect
Holly Martin is one of my all time favourite, feel good authors. You know before you even open the first page that you're going to fall in love. Everything from the cover, which I have to say is one of my favourite, to the characters and location were just perfect.Spring at Blueberry bay introduces us to Bella, her sunny, effervescent character leaps from the page - she's open and far too honest for her own good, the truth just falls from her mouth and to hilarious consequences, not always at the right time. But, she also has an alter ego who is vulnerable and struggles to trust, believing herself to be unloveable. surface.Spring at Blueberry Bay introduces us to her extended family and friends and from the very first chapter gives us a clear understanding of the 'real' Bella. Despite being out of work and penniless herself when she encounters a homeless person camped outside her house her heart melts and she invites Zac into her home, offering him a bed for the night and shares the last food in her cupboard with him. This was a book that made me smile throughout, there are hilarious moments that made me laugh out loud. One such moment which I shall refer to as the 'sofa tango' had me literally crying laughing and at a totally inappropriate moment - I was sat on the train, next to a total stranger, that coupled with the 'incident' made me lose control. This happens all the time when reading a book by Holly Martin - she adds empathy and warmth to all her characters with comic timing that is just perfect. The one thing that shines out from this book for me is that with the support, love and trust of family and friends, determination, loyalty and a strong will anything is possible and Bella proves just that in Spring at Blueberry Bay.I highly recommend this book, it truly is a another perfect slice of deliciousness by Holly Martin - a dream like book that totally melted my heart. I cannot wait for the next instalment. Bring on summer!
