There have been a number of books written on Medjugorje, but there is never more than a general, if not vague account of the meaning and purpose of the messages of Mary. Fr. Laurentin does a excellent, a very scholarly job in this book of presenting, in addition to the basic account of what has happened and is happening at the time the book was published, the essential meaning of the messages given at medjugorje. This is a very important book; I would say an essential book for anyone interested in knowing the meaning of Medjugorje.
