Q: can I use it directly on glass without a table cloth underneath?

I have used it for wood table with table cloth but i am positive you can use it without table cloths on glass table too.

It's not glass but it looks and feels ok for what it is. I have no problems with it.

Q: How do I remove stains?

Depends on what you stained it with Soap and water works well for most things with a soft cloth. Or degreaser for oils.

Q: Does it come in a 35"?

Seller would have to tell you if there is a 35". I also needed 35" for a camping table. I bought the 40" and trimmed it with a sharp razor.
