Spiceology - Jalapeno Powder - Ground Dried Jalapeno Pepper - Spices and Seasonings - 16 oz

Loving this stuff. But careful on how much you use the first time. It doesn't take much to get full flavor.

My wife was looking for ways to make up her own spices. Namely Webers Jalapeño Garlic seasoning, one of our favorite. She dried and ground up jalapeño peppers to start with. Once she tried your already powdered seasonings, we found them to be good quality and a great shortcut to making up her formula. After adding other seasonings we came up with a close replica if not actually better than Webers Jalapeño Garlic seasoning. Great product.

Perfect. Gives jalapeño flavor and heat. A little pricey, but the bottle will last a long time.

I usually dry my own and powder it myself since jalapeño powder is almost impossible for me to find. The price may seem steep to some, but please remember this is a full pound(!) of powder! While drying my own would be my first choice, since I don’t live alone, this makes my life much easier! My SO cannot tolerate the smell of drying jalapeños, (it is incredibly strong) and I also avoid the inevitable asthma attack while grinding. I use this mainly in sausage making. I’ve tried chipotle powder, but the fruitiness of the unsmoked pepper is so much better. My order came quickly and was well packaged. All in all, I will be going back to this company for my spice needs before trying anywhere else!

I bought this because our home grown jalapeños didn’t have much heat this year. So I added it to our homemade salsa. It brings heat like I wanted. The flavor is ok, just not the same as fresh jalapeños

I like a little spice in many of my soups and casseroles. This is the perfect product to put a little warmth in a dish. So glad I ordered this.

Flavor is not too intense neither is the heat. Still packs a punch though! Enjoy!

Can’t find anywhere else and it is very good

Definately adds a nice jalapeno kick and taste. But you might have to add more than you think. To a pot of 1 large box of macaroni (Costco sized) I add 2 heaping tbsp

Delicious. I use a little and mix it with some mayonnaise. A little goes a long way.

But my experience is the complete opposite of other reviews, the batch I got (packaged on Nov 17, 2020) all heat but no flavor. And I know it's not because of my sense of taste, as other food tastes perfectly normal to me. So disappointing, will be returning it
