Didnt realize this thing was massive with a 3/4 shank. Easy enough i have big machines. Didnt come in a wooden box, not like it matters that much. also have zero ideas what batteries to run. It says 3 different things in the manual, none of which work. 2 AAs, 2AAAs, 2 N cells, no luck so far. You get what you pay for i guess. havent even tried to use it yet.Edit. tested the unit, it needs 3V to light up and beep, yet only a single AA will fit in the case. so it will beep, but thats it. you need a special 3V AA size lithium battery. yippee.

I had this working for a few days then it broke. I was trying to probe X,Y, and Z on a CNC, and the Z killed it I believe. I always touched off as minimally as possible, by 0.01mm or 0.1mm, but it has no compliance in the Z, and any compression kills the device. I am still looking for a better option.

Did not include case and didn't even work after I put new batteries in it. Will return
