The helmet is great only got to try it on. I’m sending it back to get a size up ordered the large but am returning it to get an extra large. Ill give a new review after that. Got the new helmet and it kicks ass. The air flow is great helmet is awesome. I’ve got no complaints all in all worth money and it’s a great product I do recommend.

*Crash report update.* 6/29/2023I just had the unfortunate opportunity to crash test this helmet. I was hit hard at a trackday at Road America. The impact broke 2 bones in my foot and sent me on a potentially catastrophic high side. I came down to earth face first and had a clear view of the tarmac as I approached. I knee the impact would be significant, and it was.Other similar incidents resulted in no memory of the impact whatsoever. Heck, in those cases I only remember waking up in the hospital. In this case, retained full consciousness and remember the impact well. I remember the sound of the helmet hitting the pavement and thinking, wow, that could have been so much worse. The helmet did its exact job! I also believe, it did a serious job of saving me from yet another concussion. My foot, which was impacted by the other MC, didn't fair as well, but even that was saved from worse damage by the Rex Air Sidi boot. Even though it is priced well, in addition to high end features, you get high end protection.I am so happy I had this helmet on during this incident. I've had far worse outcomes, recently. I highly recommend it.**********************************************I bought this helmet to replace my Bell Star that hit the ground in a crash. The Bell was my 2nd helmet in a couple of months because I had another hit the ground shortly before. The Bell helmets are great and I like the safety of the MIPS system but getting only weeks from $600+ helmets sucks. I’ve used Scorpion in the past and liked them. I wanted to save a few dollars but didn’t want to go with a low end helmet. Whatever I bought needed to have emergency release cheek pads to be allowed in my race series. The R1 air checked all of the boxes for a price several hundred less that other helmets. In addition it includes Pin-Lock posts and an inner anti fog shield you can install if you choose.When I pulled it out of the box I was quite surprised how light weight this helmet is. I compared it to my team mates Bell Race Star Carbon Fiber helmet and the weight was very similar. It is also much lighter than my previous Bell Star.I was very surprised how much difference this lighter weight made when riding. The weight difference is noticeable at all times. The fit is very good too.Add in the inflatable cheek pads and this is not only a great super light premium helmet, but also an exceptional value. For hundred less than others you get a very light helmet that includes, Pin Lock and an inner shield, a clear and tinted shield, emergency release cheek pads, and inflated cheek pads. Add to this that the helmet is homologated for Moto GP and you know that it meets all of the safety requirements of the highest form of motorcycle racing in the world.

Me sorprendió gratamente lo rápido que llegó, ademas de que es un producto de mucha calidad, viene con una funda realmente bien cuidad, ademas de su pinlock y otro visor ahumado. Mucha calidad en sus terminaciones, no me arrepiento de haber cambio mi por antiguo AGV.

First, I hate giving 5-star reviews.... but given my limited use of the helmet so far, I'm just not seeing what I would change or complain about. Obviously, the proof is post-crash protection, but minus that....- given the features, the value is pretty obvious (to me at least), compared to $ for Arai/Shoei- I've had an earlier-gen Scorpion (modular), but the build of this one is noticeably higher- the inflatable cheek pads does not feel like a gimmick, I do indeed use it (but it fits pretty well even without it.- This will, shortly, replace my AGV helmet as a daily driver (it's too nice to mess up yet)- Pretty quiet (post-inflation... that seems to make a different for wind noise), lightweight, snug fitI would recommend others to consider this helmet as an option

I really like this helmet. Replaced an icon airframe pro and it felt like night and day. Very light quieter and a bit more comfortable. Visor also is real clear. Riding at night with the clear visor feels almost too real haha. Kind of forgot I had the helmet on one ride bc the visor just seemed so clear. Maybe cus the visor was just brand new but it definitely looks good. The helmet itself looks good too. My buddy has told me a number of times how badass he thinks my helmet is. My only gripes are chin strap could use some work. It's cheap and the padding doesn't stay in place. I find myself having to tuck the padding under the strap again after i put it on. Also hard to get the little snap on with a gloved hand. also good luck getting that super clear visor on. The scorpion system is real tough to line up. Takes some practice to get it right. Vents also aren't the greatest. They don't close too smoothly and sometimes I get a whistling noise I assume bc a vent isn't closed all the way. For the price point u can't beat it tho. Love the airfit system. Now that the helmet has broken in it really helps u get that snug feeling again. If uve been on the fence about this helmet I think its worth taking a look at. Makes mom my happy when I tell her a motogp rider wears one too. That's a plus for ur mothers out there too lol.
