Well made, beautiful rod. One side of the rode doesn't slide into the other like other rods we've bought. My husband had to cut the rod to fit. After installed we really liked that the seam in the rod is not as visible as others, so, the little bit of effort to measure and cut was worth it. This will not slide and fall off the wall like the previous rod which you had to twist to fit.

Took a chance based on the item description clearly indicating this is 1 solid rod, despite the mixed feedback in the reviews. The one I received is 2 pieces.

Very substantial rod. But be aware it comes in two pieces with a pre-attached sleeve for joint. Strong but there will be a joint line. Probably will need to trim one end to custom fit.

Awesome rod. Beautiful finish. Easy to install. I was looking for a reasonably priced one piece rod. I cut my rod with a pneumatic die grinder, but appears it would cut easily with a hack saw. Love it....and so does my wife.

This rod is nice-looking, especially the attachments on the ends, but ultimately it isn't satisfactory. The rod is split in the middle, and there's a roughly 4-inch metal insert intended, I think, to make it stable at the split. But the insert doesn't fit tightly enough within the rod pieces to prevent a slight but visible sag in the center, and a light touch will substantially wiggle the center up and down, giving the impression that it might not even support a wet curtain. It's a big disappointment overall. While we'll keep the end attachments, we now have to order a single-piece rod to replace it.
