Will buy again!
It rehydrated so well that it felt like normal food with a nice mix of textures and flavor. Even the pieces of chicken tasted like actual chicken. I might cook it a little differently at home, but I would very happily eat this exact thing at a friend's house and never even ask if it had started life as a backpacking meal.Catering to a wide market, the curry is a touch sweet and not very spicy, but overall tasty and well balanced. Bonus factor is that the portion size is good for backpacking meals - a light dinner for two backpackers who have been snacking heavily all day or a big-ish dinner for one hungry person. It's light weight, compact, and something I will actually look forward to eating. As someone who struggles to eat enough on backpacking trips (and who backpacks with a picky eater) - this was worth every penny.

Delicious and well worth it!
Absolutely delicious and well worth it! It was easy to prepare, there was no issue with the texture, and the portions were as advertised!

Savory, Reconstitutes well
Great. Savory enough to go down when too dehydrated to eat. More then enough for one. Had it for breakfast two days in a row. Keeps when temperatures are low.

As advertised
Nice enough. Tasty. Bit pricey but a better than average camp dinner. For a start it has little enough salt that salt isn't a dominant flavor. Good balance of protein and fats, though the saturated fat at 16 g per half bag is inspiring.Arrived with a 5 year shelf life. Not exactly long term emergency backup, but way better than the 2- year average for canned goods. Keep them below 60° F and you can double or more those numbers. So would I stock up for SHTF? Money is an object here, so not deeply.

Best one so far.
Went backpacking last week and took Peak Refuel Chicken Coconut Curry to try out. It was the best meal of the hike.It cooked well in the time and directions on it and you could taste the coconut in it. Not a huge curry flavor but I didn't mind. I will be taking this one with me again.

Great flavor, great serving size
Awesome flavor to add to the rotation. Satisfying and filling. It’s not spicy, if you want spice being something to add but it has plenty of flavor the way it comes.

Very good for variety
While I wouldn't buy it regularly, it will get all five stars from me because it delivers on all promisesFirst of all, it rehydrates evenly and fully. The chicken is tender, as it the rice. The carrots were actually sweet which was a nice surpriseThe coconut flavor really came through and the curry was balanced. Over all, a good flavor profile even if a bit sweeter than what i prefer. Not what i usually go for but a nice change.I'd probably add a touch of salt next time but that's just my preference. But despite it being rather pricey, i'd buy again for variety....for times when i want a little more sweet

Convenient. Good packaging. Chicken too dry
I like the seasoning and taste of the sauce. Quite a lot of chicken pieces but they are too dry. Rice is soft. The bag is resealable and it could stand up after hot water was poured into it.Love the packaging. I don't think I would buy this particular flavor again since I don't like the texture of the chicken.Quite expensive.
