Decent quality - Will NOT fit Bitx40
I ordered this to fit a Bitx40 board and found it is just a little bit too small to fit the board. That said, the quality of the case is decent for the price, and that is the reason for the 4 star rating. The case is a little rough around the edges and needs some work to clean it up. The parts did fit together well and this would make a good case for an electronics project, which is why I have decided to keep it for a future project. Again, if you are looking for a case to use for a Bitx40 build, this case will not work.

basic plastic project box
Disliked somewhat that the ends were separate from the tops and bottoms, but I used it to my advantage when soldering connections together. I could lift up one end and move it around for access to components. Plastic was easy to drill and cut.

Fragile plastic the screws stripped the plastic recepticles with minimal pressure.
Pros:Size and ease of modifying the case dur it being plastic.Cons:The screws stripped the plastic recepticles with minimal pressure on the driver and two of them snapped off the base completely. The pressure used was only that which was nescesary to keep the parts from rattling when assembled.Sadly I had already drilled holes to accomidate my project so I am stuck with a broken box that I cannot return. The price is ridiculously high for a fragile plastic box but I could find nothing else in the size range at the time I ordered this. There are not enough vent holes in the case for anything that generates a moderate amount of heat either. Conclusion:I would return this if I could and suggest looking elsewhere for a project box.

It works
Not so sturdy and a little pricey. It is a thermoplastic. Be aware of the heat.

Perfect for Amateur radio projects
I used this project box to build a radioless AllStar node for amateur radio use. It worked out perfect for this project and I can see it being used for many others.

Nice enclosure
You can partially glue it, and the top can then be removed for access. The parts fit together well.

It's ok
Used it in combination with a buck converter and a DROK 180081 Power Supply module to build a simple variable ps as described by the Dronebot Workshop. Plastic construction makes modification fairly simple, but plastic offers no shielding. However, if understanding the PS's limitations, it is a good component in a fairly simple PS.
