We just finished scanning hundreds of old family slides to digital format, about 3 GB total, and these inexpensive and perfectly reliable are a great way to share them with other family members without the hassle of posting them somewhere on line. The 8 GB drives flash red when connected and working, and are recognized immediately by my Windows 10 desktop (photo) with no additional formatting. It took between 10 and 15 minutes for some 900 images to transfer to each flash drive, and all transferred successfully. A good and inexpensive way of distributing and carrying data, and a great value.

I tested all the drives upon arrival with Windows software and all passed. I have read that some brands had DOAs on arrival. These work fine, although not at high speeds. For my purposes, they are worth the money. CMC

These flash drives are about the smallest memory-wise you can find these days. There are times you want to send files to someone, but they're too big to email. These are cheap enough to just give away to people you are sending PDF files, videos, or photos to. They work fine but the swivel cover is too loose and doesn't stay closed when not in use.

These flash drives light up when inserted and blink when read/writing. The black one did not light up, but still worked. The purple one came unformatted and was unrecognized on a Windows PC, but I was able to format it on a Linux PC. Otherwise, these work great.
