We built our own foam machine and it has been awesome. It has been used at many elementary school field days, carnivals, and other youth activities. The foam daddy soap is fantastic. It is a much better option for avoiding itchy, red eyes. The kids bury themselves in the suds and it can be really hard on their eyes if you don’t use special soap. You do need to know a few things… Make sure you mix the gel in your 5 gallon bucket at least one week ahead of time. It takes a long time for the soap to break down. It’s very difficult to mix for the first few days. You can use a drill with a concrete mixing bit for more effective stirring, but time is the best mixer. Every few days, I stick my hands in and stir it up, or use the drill. After a week, it’s ready to go. Have a great time!
