Installed in the lower part of a laundry room door. Easy to install following included instructions and cutting template.

This is a well made product that is designed so the two sides fit together securely so it lines up properly. The air flow is better than the vents with the cardboard insert. It comes with a pattern to help cut the hole and has different length screws for different door thicknesses. This is better than many of the more expensive vents. I used it for a bathroom door and it has allowed the exhaust fan to work much better.

The template for the cuts is heavy stock paper making it easy to trace, even on a textured door. Provides a centerline making alignment easy. Links to a helpful video provided but weren't needed. Multiple options for thickness provided making it possible to install in many places. This should help our bathroom breath a little better both when the door is closed for privacy but also when the exhaust fan is on for showering. Door closes more firmly now too since there's no air pressure generated. Louvers can be counter aligned to ensure privacy as well. Be sure to use a level determining your positioning; this wasn't on the recommended tool list but should be. A version with a damper would be great so you could open or close multiple vents to work for seasonality of room air temps.

Worked as described. I’ve noticed the temp drop inside my closet hence increased airflow with added vent.

Very easy to do. I measured my door and found the exact center and than marked the corners and with a straight edge guide I connected them. I predrilled holes in each corner and just used my jigsaw tool to cut out the rectangle. IT DOES NOT COME WITH HARDWARE so just keep that in mind. I have a lot of screws and such from home improvement and DIY projects. The length of the screw just be sure it’s shorter than your door depth! And getting a pack of screws is only going to be a few bucks at the hardware store. I did two bedroom doors to help circulate air flow during the night when the doors are closed to help them be more comfortable. To do two doors it took me less than an hour to pop the pins out of the hinges, take them down two flight of stairs, mark the edges, drill, cut, insert, screw and back up the two flight of stairs and pop the pins back into place.

Remember to use the right length of screw - depending on the thickness of door. One set is way too long and goes through the other side.
