I tried it with a number of phones, and while the charger is functional, there isn't an internal fan in the wireless charger. Due to the rising temperature, using a fast charger in an environment where the temperature is higher will cause an overheating problem (in summer) I'm using a Samsung S21 Plus with a 5 volt, 2 amp charger with fast charging disabled. Around 5-8 degrees above ambient, the temperature of battery has risen while using it.

Did not expect from Amazon because they sent me used product...that is first and only experience feeling very very bad for this...also product box shows made in USA but the product it self is made in china....this is very bad sad for this now not understand what to do...how ever product is working...

I was looking for a wireless charger with fan and this was the only one I could find online. I purchased one and tested it out and found that the fan is not effective at all. My charger was heating up a lot and transferring this heat to my phone. I checked if the fan is working but I could hardly hear a feeble sound after pressing the charger against my ear. I have read in multiple global reviews that people were complaining about fan noise but my charger was totally silent. But still I could feel slight moment sound inside the charger, maybe I got a defective and I'm not sure. So I returned and requested for a replacement and the replacement piece I got again behaved the same. so I guess the whole batch that is being sold here is defective. For me the charger was just working just like a normal wireless charger. The box came with a cable and QC adapter. I had tested this on my iPhone 13 pro and if somebody somebody is looking for a wireless charger for iPhone 13 pro I would suggest you to go for a Magsafe one, because of the huge camera bump the coils wont align to the charger coils resulting in heating up the charger. Remember heat is really bad for your phones battery. For normal iPhone 12 and 13 this might work without much heating due to large gap between camera bump and coils. Hope you found this review helpful.UPDATE:- After returning this, i bought a magsafe charger which also heats up, but i attached a 5volt dc fan to it and it works perfect without any heating. So you can try the same with this one too. Add a separate 5V fan, connected to another adapter or a dual one. Also i recommend charging at a slower speed using a 1A adapter so that your phone will never heat up, but takes longer to charge, about 4-5 hours. But its worth it.

a. The fancy stand is unstable so even a small nudge will cause the phone to drop from the stand. And a little heavier nudge and the stand itself will topple !!!b. it does not charge as good as it says in the product description. The phone has to be sat on the stand in a particular way else it will not charge - means quite a few mornings I woke up with the phone less than 10% charged. Sometimes it just stopped charging and had to disconnect and reconnect the power supply to get it to start charging again.Not worth the price...better to by the flat surface ones - at least the phone will not fall

I prefer a uncluttered night stand and dresser. So when I need to charge my iPhone, which is basically every night, I remove the charger and USB cable from the drawer, plug it in to the outlet and iPhone. I then follow the same steps in reverse in the morning. With this Anker wireless charger I simply place the phone down and let it work!I looked at a ton of different makes and models of wireless chargers and read a boatload of reviews, and I kept coming back to this particular one as the best for my circumstances and value.As others have mentioned there is the cooling fan to consider. I do not find the fan overly loud or distracting. After the first few moments I forget it is even operating. I do like knowing that neither the phone or the charger is overheating because of it, and that the phone is also charging more quickly!Update 8/10/19That internal fan...well, unfortunately it occasionally started getting very loud after about three months of daily (nightly) use. It sounded at times as if it was rattling. I took to mildly shaking it and that would sometimes quell the rattle. After a few weeks of this trouble I contacted Anker customer support via email and was answered very promptly by Emma. After a few emails to diagnose and verify the problem I was shipped a new unit. I am glad to say that after 7 days of use the new unit is working perfectly and I believe is even quieter than the original. I will keep my fingers crossed that it stays this way!Two thumbs up to Emma and the Anker customer support and warranty policies!!

First of all, this charger charges my iPhone 8+ faster than other wireless chargers I have. Also, while this may seem like a small thing, the non-skid bottom makes using this charger a lot easier than my other ones. It stays where I put it.Unfortunately, I did have a problem with my unit, which can happen no matter what brand of any product you buy. I own more than 20 Anker products and have owned some for years and have never had any problems before. It is my favorite brand for chargers, USB hubs and other items they manufacture. They are simply rock solid and perform marvelously. This is the first time I have ever had a problem with one of their products. I contacted their customer support and received a reply within minutes. They gave me some troubleshooting tips and I was able to determine that the device was in need of replacement. I answered the questions they had and without hesitation, Emma at Anker told me they would send out a replacement and I would not have to do anything else. My replacement shipped that morning and I received it promptly. The new one works perfectly.It is not often that you come across a company that not only makes a wonderful product, but also provides stellar customer support. Anker is a company like that. If Anker makes a product, I will never buy a different brand. I will always stick with Anker.

I'm quite pleasantly surprised at these, and ended up getting a second one for home.I expect that over time, devices like these will replace the couple of "lightning docking" stands I have still.Charges nearly as fast as plugin charging as best as I can tell, though never really tried the new "fast chargers". But works well.Note that it does make the iPhone (XS Max) hot while charging, but doesn't seem to cause any problems, and doesn't overheat. I assume (but can't confirm) that there is some feedback mechanism where the anker doesnt push as much wattage when the phone is charged.The angle of the device is PERFECT on my office desk, where I can check the phone, do Duo 2-factor authentications, and interact with the device without ever having to take it off the charger.It even does FaceID unlock without having to take it off. The angle is perfect for sitting on a desk next to your keyboard.It does have a fan inside it, and so does make an audible low-volume fan noise. It wouldn't keep me from sleeping, but if you are sensitive to even white noise like this, then just don't keep it next to the bed and you should be fine.

I purchased this unit and have been pleasantly happy with it. I have always been the type that goes and buys the Samsung name brand chargers for over priced amounts. I finally stepped out of my box a bit and decided to try this unit. The part that made me jump for it was that it went on sale and became cheaper then the white variant. Not sure why the black one is more expensive as it is just a different color and I did not want white. If they had both been the same price I would have bought this one long ago. But the pricing was silly for the only difference being one is black an one is white.I love the texture of the unit. Makes it feel like my phone us very unlikely to get bumped off. The blue light on the bottom while I wish it would turn off when the phone is done charging it does not. It does however turn off when you remove the phone. The light also is very mild at night. I used an LG G7 and this charger combined with its power supply does in fact activate the quick charge on my phone. I am very satisfied at this point. I can not rate customer service at this time as the unit is working without issue so have not had to contact customer service regarding anything. But based on the reviews of others I have no reason to suspect that if I ever had an issue with the charger that they would be anything less than stellar.Overall I rate the charger a 5 star. I think these guys did a great job, the only recommendation that I would have for it is to charge the same price as its white variant. I would have bought it much sooner. :)

I bought two of these chargers. Last year, I bought one for my husband who had an iPhone 11 and he loves it and it works great. It charges well and is so handy to not have to remove the cable all the time. This year I bought one for myself and for my iPhone 12 Pro and it will not charge. The blue light continues to flash which means it is not charging. It will charge if I lay the phone on its side but that is not handy. I hope that Anker figures out how to make a charger like this for the iPhone 12 Pro. I am returning this one but I hope that soon there will be one available for the 12 Pro.
