I love English, Irish, and Welsh teas...most are wonderfully rich. Some....well, let's just say they are not for everyone's tastes. I've had PG Tips before and found it to be a decent tea. I've been a fan of Unilever's (the manufacturer/distributor of probably 90% of teas worldwide) Irish equivalent to the PG Tips Gold for many years Lyon's Gold and thought I'd give the PG Tips Gold a try. It has a distinctive grassy note on the nose, first sip was very disappointing....very watery, mild, but not unpleasant taste....a few sips in, and it starts to open up and while still a very mild and mellow taste it is has a quite pleasant mouth feel and it finally has a pleasant slightly citrus aftertaste.If you are looking for something bold...look elsewhere, perhaps regular PG Tips, PG Tips Extra Strong, Typhoo or for something really strong, Builders tea (think coffee). However, if you just want a pleasant and light tea, this might be a good option for you.Now that I'm done righting my review....I think I'll have another cuppa.

We heard a rumor that this was Princess Diana’s favorite tea so of course we ordered it and there is no mistaking it, this tea tastes amazing and the difference is so noticeable you won’t want any of the store bought brands after trying it. It’s the only one we drink now.
