Very nice pair of conversion lenses
I don't normally leave reviews but felt compelled to do so. For the price these are a great deal, I've paired them with my Micro Four Thirds 14-42mm lens (the older, larger one not the power-zoom X version) and a Panasonic GF1. Both of the conversion lenses are branded Vivitar and they work very nicely. The 0.45x gives a very good wide angle without too much fisheye-type distortion. This was my main reason for purchasing and the 2x was just a bonus. It has a great macro too, focusing easily within an inch of the glass. The 2x zoom is a little soft at the edges but good in the central region and gives a black ring at the 14mm/wide angle end of the zoom range of this lens, but that's not where its needed anyway. Its pretty good in the central region at max zoom. Overall I'm very happy with these and would highly recommend them. At this price you can't go wrong!

Got it, tried it, love the lenses!
I would give it a 5 star for the price. Due to the reason that the lens give an amazing result for what you pay. The product itself is fantastic and I just love the shots that i get from these lenses. Keep in mind that with all telephoto lens and wide angle lens you will get some shots that are just blurry. This is common in these types of lenses, because they work best with a tripod. Overall, I give this product a 4 star for its quality. It is well worth the money!

Wide Angle=Excellent for the money (4 Stars) ; 2.2x Telephoto=Limited-but usable from 30mm-135mm (2 Stars)
Wide angle is great for the money. It does show vignetting at 18mm-20mm, but beyond that it is fine. If you are looking for perfection in image quality from corner to corner then do not buy this. Corners get blurry, but still gives a good wide angle effect.2.2x Telephoto: I had to wrestle with this one to find where it is even usable. Like most people that bought this, I immediately grabbed my 300mm lens and popped the 2.2x telephoto only to confirm that images are very blurry and not usable. After some playing around with the lens I found that it does produce usable images from 30mm-135mm. However, from 18mm-29mm on APS-C camera images were clear at the center with ugly vignetting. From 135mm-300mm the whole image was blurry. At 30mm recommended aperture is f/4.5 or higher. At 135mm recommended aperture is f/8 or higher. I generally found that this lens performs poorly with wider aperture and longer focal lengths. Now that I found a window of application for this lens, is it worth using? I'm not so sure since at 135mm with the 2.2x telephoto you're right around 300mm. With only a small portion of the center being in focus-i think I'll stick with the 300mm lens and no 2.2x adpater. If all you have is 18mm-55mm kit lens and you don't want to buy anymore lenses than this lens could have some great usability.

52mm mount threads, 62mm filter threads on these lenses
This lens gives a good clear image with no distortion. I uploaded 2 pictures, both with my phone at 20x zoom, but 1 with this 2.2x telephoto lens and the other is without the lens. I did not upload and macro pictures, but the macro lens looks great and gives lots of detail that you didn't know was there. The mount threads on both of these lenses are 52mm thread, but if you want to add filters to these, you will need to buy 62mm filters. I thought these were the same thread on both sides, so I bought a 52mm filter which was frustrating at first until I found adapters to go from 62mm to 52mm. That's not ideal, but it's also not a huge problem because when zoomed in you can't see the edges. Overall I am happy with my purchase.

Defective Macro Lens Received From Vivitar
Supplier delivered as promised. I placed the order with Amazon.com on Monday, October 20th and received it in Miami, Florida on October 25th which is fast enough for me. Since I live in Panama City in Central America, it was handed to me by my freight forwarder on October 29th. That is fine with me."2-in-1 This wide angle lens features a detachable macro lens for close-up, high detail photography. Attach the macro portion to your standard lens to take sharp pictures as close as 50mm from the subject (perfect for flowers, coins, insects, etc.).The above assertion did not take place with me. When I tried to separate the macro lens from the wide angle lens, I discovered it was stuck. According to the operations manual, this lens has a detachable macro part which can be unscrewed. You just unscrew the macro part of the lens and attach it to your camera to take photos of objects at extremely close range. I tried for about half-an-hour without any success.I contacted Amazon's Customer Service Department and they promised to send me a replacement lens free of charge. It should arrive in Panama City, Panama on Wednesday, November 12, 2014. I was a bit disappointed, but I guess you receive what you pay for. Crossing my fingers that the replacement device works fine. Tomorrow I will unpackage a small 2.2x zoom lens, also manufactured by Vivitar. Let's see what happens.Due to this defective item I decided to give it a score of only two stars. I was under the impression Vivitar was a reputable company with high quality merchandise. I was wrong.Edit: Today I received the replacement wide-angle/macro lens from Amazon. I checked it out and this time it worked well. I could separate both lens without a hitch. Amazon did a fantastic customer service job, I can't say the same about the Vivitar people. Their customer service performance is well under par. I don't anticipate purchasing Vivitar products in the future. Canon will be my best option.

The product is as described and very good for the price
The product is as described and very good for the price, perhaps not up to professional standards but more than adequate for general use.Zoomed out, the wide angle lens does not have noticeable bending of the edges and does a good job. The telephoto lens is likewise very good but, as the instructions say, your main lens should be zoomed out to avoid barreling; I found barreling an interesting effect and will play with it when I have time.Delivery-wise the products came earlier than estimated. I was advised by the seller shortly after I ordered the the lenses and the filters that they would be shipped separately and true to what the seller said one package arrived almost a week after the other although they were both mailed at the same time. The only negative I can think of is that the shipping cost was rather expensive.Otherwise, the purchase and the seller were excellent. I would have no reservations about ordering from them again!

Easy to Return
My boyfriend got me the wide angle lens and it was blurry as was the telephoto. Better off cropping photos close to get closer in and standing farther away for the wider angle. Or just get a different lens.I would recommend the Tamron AF 18-200mm. It's much cheaper than the nikkor lenses but it produces beautiful pictures on my Nikon D3300.Note: I was not pleased with the lenses. The first time I ordered the wrong size (my own fault) and the second time they fit but I was displeased with the quality. HOWEVER, both times I was able to return with no hassle and get a full refund. So that is why I gave 2 stars.

good for the price
Like the other reviews said it is good for the price. You get exactly what it says and it works pretty well. It's not always crisp on edges etc. But it does the job

Looks good.
Items come in their separate bags and they fit perfectly to my Nikon D3100. Have yet to try them out for a test run but so far it looks great and it fits great on my camera. One downside is the screw cap (when you try to store them) is a little bit hard to put on and sometimes needs a few tries for it to screw on properly, which can be a downside if you're trying to change the lenses quickly. But all in all, great product for what you paid for.

Great product, I love em
I got these in the mail today, very quick delivery ! and I just testing both lens attached to my Nikon 18-55 mm lens. They work wonderfully and I am happy, the macro lens I am very impressed with as I was only mm from my subject and sharp focus. Hey they work for me, and super product if you are on a budget and can't afford an expensive lens. No problems with screwing onto my 18-55 lens.
