Great quality, easy use…
Fits firm on the bar. Easy single hand on/off. I’d buy them again when needed

Work OK
These collars are easy to lock and unlock. They seem a little more secure than spring clips/locks. They don't lock incredibly tightly, but the rubber/plastic inner sleeve/pad allows them to grip pretty well. So far they don't slip after locking, both on older US made bars and newer cheap import bars.

Way too tight and hard to both lock and unlock
Today, I'm comparing 3 popular olympic barbell clamps. I purchased all of them from Amazon:- Bear Grips ($9.99)- Clout Fitness ($15.95)- Lock-Jaw ($32.99)As you can see, the price points are quite different, but is more expensive necessarily better? The first clamp I got was the Bear Grips. It is easy to lock, but unlocking, especially with one hand, is annoying and sometimes painfully slaps my fingers. There's a little push button which needs to be pressed for unlocking to occur. The hold on the bar is nice and tight when locked. This clamp is close to perfect, especially at the low price of $9.99, but ultimately I didn't want to be annoyed every time I needed to change weights. The Lock-Jaw and Clout Fitness clamps arrived at the same time, and I immediately knew which one I would keep. The Lock-Jaw, the most expensive of the three, at over 3x the cost of the Bear Grips ($32.99), is very tight to lock, close to impossible with one hand. Perhaps it'll loosen over time, but right now, it's a no-go. I do like that it doesn't have a push button to unlock, but unlocking is also too tight, and the force of it opening snaps my fingers if I'm not careful. Unsurprisingly, due to how tight it is, the hold on the bar is very good. However, due to the outlined issues, this is my least favorite clamp of the bunch. Finally, the Clout Fitness is both easy to lock and unlock, even with one hand. The hold seems just as good as with the other two clamps, so I don't see any negatives with this clamp. The $15.95 price point doesn't break the bank either. This is the winner of this race, 5 stars from me.
