I run a business from home and as a result I receive deliveries all the time. This device has been invaluable in keeping the delivery drivers from leaving the packages with a neighbour, or behind a plant pot, or in some cases in my bin?! It is so easy to setup and has enough configuration settings to make it tailored to my needs. On top of that I can 'screen' those unsolicited visits from sales people and I think it is also a deterrent for those who may not have the best of intentions. It connects to my TV and other devices seamlessly and always lets me know when there is someone in view. If you have never bought one of these before and don't have much experience with this kind of thing then this is a great, user friendly piece of kit. If you can connect a phone to the wifi, then you have what you need to be able to setup this system. It's so easy and well worth the price.

Firstly... Great product. The video image is clear, you can answer the door from your phone and it is vert clear. There are lots of features including motion sensing which are adjustable. Mine is powered via a battery which can be removed and charged via USB. The app warns you of this. However..... my Ring is too sensitive despite being on lowest setting and has now developed a delay so if I get a notification, I get it about 20 seconds later, so the delivery guy has left, my house has been entered and my car is already missing... potentially. I'm not technically sure whether it's my phone, my network, my WiFi or the product but the system is not completely faultless. However, still a very good product for the bits that do work.

I have been using the Ring doorbell 4 for over a week now. It has pre roll included, which shows the moments before the camera is activated. So far working really well. Set up was easy enough, after an initial teething problem with the solar charger. It wasn't showing as connected. But It just needed a few hours of direct sunlight to store enough energy. The battery hasn't dropped below 60% all week - very impressed with that as I read that some people were changing/recharging their batteries daily. I've also got a spare battery to swap out if the British sunshine doesn't do the work it should!Only grip I have is that you can't record your own messages or greetings for the doorbell to play when activated. I will sign up to the monthly Ring subscription, after my free 30 day period ends. You need this to access your stored videos, which will be available for up to 30 days after recording. So far, I'm impressed with Ring 👍

I bought this doorbell after buying a stick up cam a few weeks prior, was very impressed with the camera so decided to buy this ring doorbell aswell. It’s VERY good, the night vision is clear, the daytime picture is amazing for a small camera sensor and it has a very wide angle of viewing. The motion settings that it offers is insane, you can alter if it sees cars or not, if it sees parcels or not, set boundaries where it detects motion only inside that boundary and far far more. It really does give you full customisation over the settings and allows you to detect what you want to see, it truly amazed me on what it can offer. The speaker is loud and clear and I have successfully taken numerous parcels over the speaker and asked them to leave it around the back. It feels well made aswell and has so far survived 6 months outside my front door. My only complaint is that the battery life isn’t great, now the app does warn that altering certain settings will decrease battery life and I do have more or less every setting on full as my property is not very secure out the front so I do like to see what’s going on. However the battery lasts about 8-10 weeks MAXIMUM in my case. It would benefit from having a few settings like sensitivity and motion frequency reduced to be fair, but 8 - 10 weeks MAX on a battery isn’t ideal. It does get set off 5+ times a day though so I can’t complain too much. I’ve since bought the solar panel to go with and this made things infinitely better. Overall I highly recommend, you won’t regret it.

works great when you have a decent WIFI signal. said it supportd 5g wifi but it dose not, loads of call to tech support even they could not sort it, sent a new door bell and still did not sort, so it works but on a poor wifi signal...

This was purchased as a replacement as our last version was battery and would not access the wifi properly. This one has no problems with the wifi and so I do not need to keep charginf the batteries. As an extra I was given the option of having a different colour face and I opted for red. I think that this should be a purchase option as so many people have commented on how good the colour looks to brighten up the front door area.

Die Klingel war einfach zu installieren und in der App einzurichten. Man hat viele individuelle Einstellmöglichkeiten, besonders für den Bereich auf den die Kamera reagieren soll.Die Bild- und Tonqualität ist ebenfalls prima. Bei einer Bewegeungsaufnahme dauert es 1-2 Sekunden bis das Bild scharf wird, aber dann ist jedes Detail erkennbar.Die Verbindung mit Telefon und Alexa verlief reibungslos und im Nu konnten alle notwendigen Geräte auf Ring zugreifen.-> leider ist kein Platz für ein Namensschild, sodass wir dieses extra besorgen mussten. Gibt es aber auch Ring Klingeln angepasst.-> Quick Replies aktuell nur in Englisch verfügbar. Macht mir nichts, aber nicht jeder versteht Englisch.
