NIOSH Approved N95 Mask Particulate Respirator - Pack of 20 Face Masks - Size M/L

I work in an ER and familiar with N95 respirators. I checked CDC’s list of approved NIOSH N95 Particulate Filtering Facepiece Reapirators and this company, Suzhou Fangtian Industries Co, Ltd and this mask, FT-N058, is on the the approved list. So this is an authentic N95 mask.The 20 masks come sealed in a plastic bag. Masks fit well, comfortable and provide a nice seal. These masks are similar to 3M 1860 blue cone masks, which I use in the hospital.This is a great deal - $2.50/mask. I am keeping these handy even though vaccinated to use for whatever variant strain may prey upon is or wildfires in my area. I highly recommend.

Just got these today, 20 masks in a sealed bag inside a sealed box. All contents shown in the attached pictures.Just a little background...I've used several masks, disposable Costco ones, homemade masks, 3 piece masks, under armor masks, but none are N95.These masks fit more securely (using the upper and lower bands behind your head) than any of my previous masks which used the loops over the ears. The masks has a moldable nose bridge piece that helps with fit to different faces. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to fit this to my face securely. Not sure if this is the case for others, but seems to seal better if I wear it slightly lower on my nose bridge.Once secured properly, I immediately could tell it filtered the air better than anything I've worn before. The air feels cleaner and there isn't any sort of scent. It's also different than any of my prior masks as it seems more breathable, but not in a manner that feels unfiltered.

I wish there were more sizes available. This is too big for me and I even had my fiancé try on and there’s a huge gap by the chin.However, I feel like the quality is really good and if it would fit, it would be great. I really like the straps so that they don’t dig in.I’ll be giving these away since we don’t fit it :(

Since the start of the pandemic, I never thought about purchasing N95 masks as the PPE needed to be conserved for those on the front lines. However now that people are getting vaccinated and we seem to be on a trajectory to get back to some form of normal, we can start to think about doing things we've been delaying for over a year now. I've been wanting to visit my brother and help him out as he's been having a rough go lately. Regardless of vaccinations, the thought of flying on a plane still gives me major pause. These masks fit so securely and provide me with the confidence to sit on a plane for 8 hours. Its definitely more expensive than the regular fabric masks, but it's worth the price for the peace of mind it provides.

It was very comfortable and I liked the straps that went around my head. However, it had a really strong chemical smell. I am feeling afraid to wear it. I read that some others also noticed the smell. Does anyone have more information about the cause and safety of this smell. NOTE: I wrote the first part of this review after just receiving the masks… the next day the smell was mostly gone when both I and my husband smelled it. While it fit me fine, he felt it fit him fairly tight and that he might wear it for shorter times but not all day. I am still wondering about the smell. Any comments?

These masks might work perfectly on a larger face than mine (I'm a 5'4" male). For me, the top rides too high on the nose and the edge curves forward a bit, which interferes with wearing glasses. I found it fairly easy to breathe through these, though I wouldn't want to wear one for physical activity.

I like these masks because they are comfortable on your face. They have an extra nose piece attached under the metal clip that contours to fit your nose. When you put them on you can adjust them so there are no leaks around the edges. It doesn't let your glasses fog up so you can breathe normally. It includes two straps for more comfort and better fit.

First impression is that these are quality masks. I really like that there is a strip of foam where the mask touches the bridge of your nose. Also as with most other masks, there is bendable metal to conform the mask to the bridge of your nose. There is a shape to them, so I think that helps with breathing (the surgical masks can cling too closely to your face). Highly recommended during the pandemic!
