I purchased these to add some additional lighting to the back of the house. The single motion light on top of the shed just wasn’t enough to provide the needed sense of security.I decided on these because of their contemporary/ barn style look. Which accents our home beautifully.they have been installed about 2 months now and holding up really well.I love the effortless dusk to dawn feature. One less thing I have to remember to do at night.they put off a warm white, (somewhat amber) level of brightness that is not overwhelming to annoy the neighbors or myself at night. And go off on there own. as soon as the sun Has begun the rise.They really do look beautiful!extremely happy with this purchase!I plan to buy another set for the front of the house as well. totally worth the price!

I hated having the porch light on constantly or forgetting to turn it on completely. The light sensor works great and I no longer worry. With the reflective interior it is quite bright and lights up our large patio well. If you are looking for a dim or gentle light, this might not be a great fit. However, it is wonderful for brightening up our space and bringing safety and visibility. I installed it myself very easily. There is an extra red wire that works with the sensor, so you will connect it with the corresponding wire. Two wires on the light will be connected to a single wire on your home. (I believe it was black and red.) The red wire is for the light sensors auto on/off. That being said the instructions were not very clear, but if you watch a video on outdoor light installation there is nothing complicated about this install. (Be safe and make sure your breakers are off.) As far as weatherproof, it has been a wet and cold winter and it is still holding up great.

I bought these outdoor lights because they have a dusk to dawn feature and there is no need for a timer. I have eight of these lights around my house. Love the style and they were easy to install. One of the eight lights started making a buzzing noise after about 3 months. I emailed the manufacturer to tell them about the problem and they sent me a replacement immediately (shipped and received within 3 days). That never happened with the lights I bought from Costco 5 years ago - these lights replaced them because when the LED plates failed on the Costco lights, the company would only send me parts under warranty not the entire fixture. CINOTON is the BEST. Great value, great customer service and beautiful lights!

So, first, the light looks great. It was easy to install, and it really shines bright with an LED that lights up the pathway. The product seems well-built, and I would buy another. The only thing I didn't like about it is the photo sensor, which turns on the dusk-to-dawn feature. Because of the location of the sensor and the location of the light on our home, oftentimes it doesn't turn off during the day. It's all due to the sensitivity of the sensor. I know the sensitivity is mentioned in the description, but unless you're a person who has a light saturation monitor, how will you really know what type of light will turn it on our off?Ideally, it would be fantastic if it had a sensitivity adjustment knob that you could manually change. The light it replaced had one, and it worked great in that location. In the end, it's an LED so it's not much cost to leave it run 24 hours a day, but we may still find ourselves moving it to a location that gets full sunlight to correct this problem.

We bui;t a new farmhouse style home. We have 4 of these light across our front porch. They add a decrative flare to the front as well as a nice soft light to light up the entire front porch. I like them so much I purchased more for our side porches and the back porch.

Easy to install and they look great. The dusk to dawn feature means we have the outside lights on making the house look great and providing safety.

I love the look of this light - I installed it over the garage in my 120 year old farmhouse, and it looks like it's been there all along. It turns on automatically at night, so adds a little security, and the LED lamp means it costs pennies to keep on all night. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.
