Glass bed not much use
I've had this printer for a few days now and I have found it to be reasonable. The glass printer bed is next to useless and I have swapped it for a Magnetic version. It is very good value for money and the print quality when using ABS and PETG filament using higher temperatures is very good. So far, and its very early days yet, I haven't had any print failures. It would benefit greatly if it had an Auto bed levelling sensor, at the time of writing this I am in the process of seeing if one could be fitted. It is a Chinese manufactured machine and up to now, and there are no exceptions on this customer service from China is non existent. That is my experience and I have bought a few budget 3D printers over the past few years.

Good first printer shame about the quality of the parts
Firstly I would like to say this is a great printer for a first printer to learn about 3D printing. After figuring out the heatbed temp, Filament temp and the extruder speed great adhesion and pretty good quality prints. Now the bad, cables could have been better thought out, one of the head temperature cables for the head assembly broke when changing the nozzle. No biggy a bit of soldering and manipulation of the cables works a treat. Changed the nozzle because of extruder slipping and the screw threat in the head assembly fell out. Now not able to tighten the nozzle so can no longer print. In talks with HicTop and no luck so far in getting a replacement head unit so I can replace it or finding out if they do upgraded parts like the Creality units. I'm willing to pay for the part but no response and no interest in helping me. In hindsite I should have paid the extra for the Creality unit where almost every part is upgradable or available to buy directly from Creality

Fantastic Printer!
This is my go-to printer when I need to build small parts. A bit disappointing with the fiist one bought - on power up the X motor made horrible noises and wouldn't home, but ordered a replcement which worked nicely with minimal set up.The only complaint from my wife iis that this printer is ridiculously quiet. It just is, so silent you wouln't know it was working. The only enhancements I would suggest would be to scale up to 300x300, and a dual extruder would be a great addition.

Bed coating evaporated and washed off
This at first looks a great built machine, menu system is very nice, but the only thing that would print was the test phone holder, any thing else would under extrude .The coating on the bed vaporised and particles would block the nozzle, the coating totally removed it self in a soapy wash., I did think it was strange I thought I was printing with red but It was blackThe software should lock up sometime and refused to stop printing. After two weeks calibrating and testing this would block over and over again. And still the only thing that printed. Ok was the phone holder , any thing from cura just didn’t print .Sadly I gave up I wanted a printer that prints not a project to tinker with.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR
Assembly was simple for this machine , the quality of parts was poor , but for the cost i suppose it was to be expected. After setting machine up and levelling , i tried my first print , after adjusting the level , it seemed to be printing ok , i thought , this is quiet , approx 15 mins into print it stopped printing , the screen said , closing machine. I reset , and levelled again pressed print , and waited , the nozzle heated up to the 200 i wanted but the bed would not heat . again message on screen , closing machine. . I am returning the machine . As i say , you get what you pay forUpdate , recieved mail from seller........Dear customer,Sorry for the situation.Have a nice day!Best regards,Vivian-HICTOP teamthat is the sort of support you can expect

Looks good but the one I received wasn't
I order this because I saw one doing a print and it looked good and was in my very limited price range. I was really looking forward to using it. When it arrive the build was quick and simple. flipped the switch and it powered up. When I tried to home the axis it became apparent the Z stepped just didn't work. bitterly disappointing. no support from the manufacturer. Amazon support wasn't working so had to return. Think I'll wait for the Neptune 2 to become available again.
