Easy to use once you figure out what you're supposed to do. There are no instructions that come with this product, so I had to do a bit of interneting to figure it out. With the weather-proof LED strips, you have to remove the silicone, which is surprisingly easily to peel off. Then just put the copper parts under the connectors (see photo). Once connected, the lights all came one without any additional work.

Ok, these things worked - AFTER I fixed them.EVERY single one needed the "L" shaped piece of ribbon trimmed so that the pads would fall under the spring clips in the joining blocks.In the first pic you see the silver springs appear to be on the copper pads - they are not. The next two pics you can see what I had to trim. Just 2mm needed to be trimmed off the end - and always from the right end. (well, ONE needed the left end trimmed also)Once I did this they worked well.One other annoyance with these - in the 'lid' the hinged bit is supposed to have two tiny metal 'teeth' - many were missing, several fell out when I opened them. They seem to work OK without themIf I was doing this on the clock I would be very unhappy - having to waste all the time to disassemble and trim all of these. (and then it would be a One-Star rating)

The title says it all. Like previously reported by another customer, the corner strips need retrimming so that the small contacts are properly centered.Additionally, after light use, the plastic hardens, and when you try to disconnect the connectors, they break (the tiny metallic contacts are only attached with microscopic plastic rivets).Not recommended.

I handed these clips to a friend with absolutely no experience or any real understanding of LED light strips. Even though he is not handy, he had the clips in place and the lights turning corners in just minutes. Once I showed him how to snap open the clip without breaking it, it went easy. He kept saying "positive to positive and negative to negative" as he ran LED strip around the back of my mirror. He made it sound easy, so I gave it a try. Even being totally blind, I managed to connect the strips the first time every time. I was not as fast, but the end result was exactly as bright and beautiful ... so I am told. This product works.

I have purchased right angle connectors twice now. This latest pack is virtually useless to me. I cannot get them to work well and I am extremely handy with wiring and such. I use LED lighting to backlight a large picture on my wall. I have not been able to us it because I must have L connectors and can't find any that actually work.

I was able to get a few to snap shut and stay shut. The rest of the connectors I had to hold shut with zip ties. Yes, I read all the directions and cut the light strip in exactly the right spot. I did not see any difference between the ones that held and the ones that did not hold. I had the light strip perfectly aligned, but just could not get most of them to stay clicked shut, even after trying to use pliers. So, I ended up using small zip ties to hold them together.

I bought the 90 degree connector and it works with the 10mm led strip that I bought. If the strip is waterproof and has silicone, you have to expose the tip of the strip by removing some of the silicone so it could be inserted into one of these connectors. The locks were tight which is a good thing so that the led strip wont be detached easily. It will work once you figure out how to connect them to led strips.Could have given 5 stars but one piece from the bag didn't work. I didn't check all the pieces though and I just discovered one of them to be defective. But 5 out of 6 that I tried worked, so I guess I was just unlucky with that one.

They work, but it's easy to loose your connection. You just have to be very careful. I put up a roll of LEDs under our kitchen cabinets. I used these 90 degree connectors. When I got through they were working. Several hours later I came through the kitchen and after the first 90 the lights were in burning. I just touched the connector and they came back on. I reworked the connections and all was well. That's what I meant by "be very careful".

Purchased these to fit LED light strips together. Half of them didn't work (poorly, cheaply made), the rest, strangely changed the colours of the LED lights??? Waste of money and completely ruined a 10mtr strip of LED lights. Do Not Buy!
