Great book to get to know the Japanese folk stories. My son loved it.

I bought this book as a gift for my niece's children. According to her, they LOVE the stories and are always begging her to read them over and over again.

The illustrations bring the stories to life. Many of the stories teach children about moral values and respect for others. They are timeless and cross cultural and political boundaries teaching about kind behaviour toward one another. Parents can read these stories to their children from from age 2 - 12.

We adore this book at home; it's a toddler favourite. With very applicable stories like Silly Saboru and the Rabbit of Inaba, we enjoy sharing the culture with our little one, whilst having him learn excellent morals for discipline in life.
