A very good read!
A holistic review of Dr. Jensen's health regime. I would recommend it as the first book of Dr. Jensen's series to read before you dive into his other publications.

Very Infomative!
This book is very informative, it gives information on how to care for the elimination channels in the body and what the purposes are of these channels. It is very easy reading, not like a medical text book that you need a dictionary to decipher every other word. To the user that said that it is very restrictive, I really think that you are wrong, if you are pertaining to the breakfast, lunch section where he tells you what to eat, it may seem so, if you don't know what else to use. You can find the grains at a regular health foodstore, and you can buy it in bulk, like I do, and have always done, that way you come out cheaper, as far as the herb teas, that too, you can buy from a herb company in bulk, and you will come out far cheaper, than buying a little box of tea for $4-5, you can buy a pound of herbs for that price! Ameriherb is a good, cheap company that sells bulk herbs, it's the company that I use and love, give it a try before complaining. I would much rather buy Millet, Quinoa, buckwheat in bulk and spend a little money towards my health, than to buy cheap, unhealthy, degenerative, highly processed food that you pick up in the frozen section for which after I would have to pay $ thousands of dollars, because I have to go to the hospital because of clogged arteries, diabeties,etc.. just because I ate it. To all considering this book, get it, get it, get it, if you can't follow to a "T" the menu guidelines, like I am not always able to do, then substitute with something else that is equally healthy! You don't have to have Millet on monday, be creative, it is just a guideline, not a rule. And for the dried fruits,I prefer fresh all the time, they are cheaper and more healthier than dried, highly sweet fruits. If you suffer from Candida like I do, then skip the dried fruits completely, you can eat grape fruit, apples that are not very sweet and kiwi.I hope that this info was very helpful, and did cast a positive light on this book. oh as for the info for the sland board, the sland board helps to, with the aid of gravity, put your organs back in place example a prolapsed uterus, or colon.
