Excellent product! I purchased the Grenera amla powder online and also another brand at an Indian grocery store. The Grenera has a light, greenish, tan color and a pleasant fruity aroma. The taste is extremely tart, but fresh and citrusy. The other brand was sour, coarse in texture, and the hint of fruit was muted. I like to mix one teaspoon of the Grenera brand amla powder in my daily smoothie. It blends in well with the banana, frozen berries, protein powder, and dark leafy greens. Two teaspoons start to overwhelm the flavor, to my taste. Amla is one of the foods that is highest in antioxidants. One teaspoon of amla powder has more antioxidants than a half cup of blueberries! It has been used for many years in Ayurvedic medicine.

I mix it with water and honey and let it stay on my hair for an hour and it makes my hair shiny and voluminous. Love it! It smells great but tastes bitter as I have drank a little bit of it as well but mainly got it for my afro. It's green, powdery texture is consistent throughout, so the quality appears to be excellent. I will purchase this brand again.

I haven't really noticed any difference but you aren't really suppose to with antioxidants I suppose. It didn't give me any bad side effects I'm aware of but it is being added to my fruit smoothies every so often.This stuff HAS to be mixed with something, if you try to put it in water or something it will just be like doing the cinnamon challenge. You'll poof out powder and gag on it. This isn't from the taste either it's just very very fine dry powder. The taste is what you'd expect very bitter and not enjoyable. I mean come on most stuff that's REALLy healthy for you tastes bad. You can't expect to taste your favorite candy.

I can't really tell a difference taking this, but I have read such good reviews that I'm continuing to take it anyway because it must be doing some good. I take Amla, Fenugreek, and Tumeric mixed together in coconut cream. It doesn't taste great, but I couldn't get them down in a liquid and the cream helps them not taste so gritty and spongy. I mix together a batch of a 1/2 cup each of the Amla, Fenugreek and Tumeric, then mix it with two cans of coconut cream. I take a large spoonful every morning and evening. Its not the tastiest food ever, but the research on these three is overwhelmingly positive and the coconut cream is just an added benefit.This container, though it only weighs 8.4 ounces, seems to have at least 3 cups (or more) in the small jar because it is well packed. It seems like a good value and I have had no problems with mold or bugs because it is well sealed.

Enjoy the many uses I get from this jar! Works well for the immune system. I also use it topically on skin and hair masks and does a fabulous job

I found this product via research concerning anti oxidants. I came across information that touted this vegetable as having one of the highest yields of anti oxidants compared to oranges and even blueberries.So I decided to give it a try. I tried it for month in which time I added it to my daily super green smoothies. I appreciate the health benefits of it. My only concern is the after taste. It is difficult to describe, but each time I used it an after taste would linger for at least 15/20mins afterwards. I tried switching the ingredients of my smoothie in an attempt to off set the taste. But, sadly, I could not. I attempt to eat for function first, and taste second, but I could not continue using it based on the after taste.You may have better luck than I had with this awesome vegetable. Lastly, I may try another manufacturer of this product to see if that makes a difference because it is essential to healthy living and aging.

Smells great! I added it to my Banana Health Mix and am using it for the very first time in my life! I just received my product of the Amla Powder on yesterday; and upon drinking it today, I did not experience any after taste at all. If I notice any extra benefits, I'll be sure and come back with an update. So far, a good experience with just 1 teaspoon. Smiling. ♥

Just started taking it so I don’t know how effective it is yet. I’m happy with the taste, it’s not bad at all. I plan to drink in water daily.
