I made a fabric tube and put 1/4 teaspoon beads inside and let it soak so I could tie it around my neck to stay cool.

I make lots of crafts and was recently asked to make cooling wraps because the heat here was unbearable. These worked great.

Crystals have been used on the cooling scarves to increase size of scarves.

When it first arrived i saw how small the package was and thought "oh i see why people in the questions/reviews says it wasnt enough to do anything with" but then i followed the instructions for how to hydrate them and after letting it sit in the water for 1 hour, i had to move it to a bigger container to let it soak for the remaining four. I put it into a gallon pickle jar that we usually use to make sun tea on the back porch and it is a little more than 3/4 full. So the 28 g became roughly 3 quarts. Follow the instructions.

A very small amount expands a ton, they stay moist and cool foot a long time!

It was really a tiny amount and you don't need much but for the amount of time it took to get it, (weeks) it kind of wasn't worth it

Purchase the pound, this is expensive for the smallest amount possible. You can get a pound for just a little more from another dealer. This will only make one scarf. 😩

I made a round neck collar and filled with this...as a neck cooler to wear on hot days. Just soak in water put in refrigerator and take out when needed...you stay cool for hours!!
